Since I'm white in the other game, I'll be black in this one.

(its called owen defense)
Huh? It doesn't really seem bad to me. I've been wanting to experiment with this opening and see how it does.

I don't get what you're saying here. I didn't move Qe7. If I remember correctly, S is the German letter for knight, and if you're talking about my move, moving my knight to d2 would be suicide. If you're talking about Conan324's move, sure moving the knight to d2 isn't bad, but then what does Qe7 mean? There's no way Conan324 could have moved to Qe7.

Corrected. Qe2.

Ahh, I see. I don't think Qe2 was a terrible move. Sbd2 isn't bad either, but it does block in the queen's bishop.

You simply shouldn't use Queens and Rooks that early. That's a common rule, and the only exception I know is the French opening (of course this doesn't apply if you'd get a knight or so for your move

).
And, as you could attack the Knight easily with Nbd2, there's no need to move the Queen. However, if he replies f5,
then you might consider attacking with the Queen as well. However, Nd2: Ld2: was also a possibility.
