I'm curious if you'll find the next move. It's something you wouldn't expect in opening theory, but it is right in the French...

2. e2-e4 / d7-d5
3. e4-e5 / c7-c5

Well, I don't know much about opening theory, but I do know that your pawns are cramping my style.  Is that the move you were thinking of?

No. The actual one is Dd8-b6. This move is also in the theory, but only a few moves later.

Moving the queen there??  I don't really see the benefit of that.  Anyway, there are way too many pieces to keep track of, so I decided to get rid of one.

2. e2-e4 / d7-d5
3. e4-e5 / c7-c5
4. c2-c3 / Nb8-d6

Ooh, if I were playing, I'd try something bold and brash here. Knowing you guys, it'll be more development.
