Yay, it's good to be back  ;)

Anyway, here is the next one:
A girl buys 200g of fresh mushrooms in a shop. They have a water content of 95%.
A couple of days later she wants to use them for a pizza. She weighs the mushrooms and after some thinking she says:The water content of the mushrooms is now 90%.
How much do the mushrooms weigh?

Are you asking how much do the mushrooms weigh without any water, or are you asking how much do the mushrooms weigh (water content included) on the day she wants to use them for a pizza?

Mushrooms with water included on the day she uses them.

I hope I finally get one right!
100g

200x.95= 190g of water on first day
200-190= 10g of mushroom content

10g+90g= 100g
(check) 100x.9= 90

Those are some pretty shriveled mushrooms for them to have lost half their weight!

Your turn to post a question, Chubs.  :)

Schwinng! *Does dance*

A farmer has two apples and eats one.  How many apples does he eat?
A farmer actually decided that he didn't want to eat any of his apples, but sell them.  In the first year he sells four large apples and two small ones for $7.00.  If the two small apples together cost $0.50 less than one large apple, then how much did each type of apple cost?

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
A small apple costs 0.50$ and a large on 1.50$.
I used the following two equations:

2s+4l=7
2s+0.5=l

After solving for both variables I got:

s=0.5
l=1.5
Ah, just like last time, I don't have any riddle that I could share with you, so if my answer is correct, someone else can post a new riddle

Few days without answer usually means the riddle is too difficult. How about you give us a tip or two...

You have the right idea, but you've changed the order of what I've given you, making your answer incorrect.

It's:
1
1 1
2 1
1 2 1 1 (not 1 1 1 2, which is what you put).

Try again, with using the numbers above.
