Re: Mafia! Mafia! Mafia! Character Role Discussions
Why does it matter if the town knows Anokata is in the game?
Also, can blame be arrested? Like "Arrest Kleene for blaming Detective Tommy"?
Because it is kind of like slander, or "framing someone", so I think it can be arrested for.
If it can be arrested, then I'm okay with the no notifications.
@Kir,
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate
or
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate + Contact
The second option is WAY too much.
Also, I think people might believe Special Investigate + Contact is WAY too powerful.
If James Black and Kir got together, that's 2 special investigations and she knows what BO ability happened.
I say either:
NOC + Betrayal + Contact
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate

@Blame: I'd think that that would be an arrestable action, too.Detective Tommy wrote: Why does it matter if the town knows Anokata is in the game?

wasn't the original intention to give her special investigate *or* betrayal, not both?
Because I think the less investigations the better imo.

Well Kleene really wants Kir to have special investigate. Since she added it into both options...
I rather have: NOC+Betrayal+Contact.
But what do you guys want?
(Woah, my power just went out!)

You can arrest someone for blaming, since it's a crime I guess. But it's not investigatable.Detective Tommy wrote: Why does it matter if the town knows Anokata is in the game?

I say either:
NOC + Betrayal + Contact
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate
And the town knowing whether Anokata is in the game or not is important. That's something Okiya was supposed to be able to check (and now Kir too).
Anokata was always someone "untouchable", hard to arrest or to find out. So, him getting discovered by his own ability would be strange now (now that I thought about it more).
It's always possible for Kir being a lover, so she could end up being a lover with James Black or another good role. The chance is not high tho.
That's why I'm considering contact, because the chance of her contacting someone isn't very high either I think, especially when we make the number of people that she can contact low.
NOC isn't so powerful either. She can't tell on the thread how many BO's are in the game, since she would get APTXed then ;P
And Betrayal and special investigate are limited too. You can just investigate one action. And you just get 1 info from betrayal too.
I was James Black, and I know that I wanted and needed a lot of more investigations :x
So, choosing between betrayal and special investigate is a hard choice too
As Kir, you could also try to follow your lead from betrayal and try to special investigate that, or, you could try to special investigate night 1 actions from townies.
Even with contact and you end up getting Kir + James Black, that are still just 2 special investigations. And that James Black could be Vermouth too, so you could end up wasting 1 special investigate on checking your partner.
No, Kir has both, Special investigation and betrayal. But she can just use on at night (like detectives can use either investigate or interrogate)

It came back on. I don't know what happened.
But my TV went off. My laptop battery power popped up. And then the internet didn't work.
So, for Kir.
I still rather have: NOC + Contact + Betrayal.
Since Contact/Special Investigate might be too strong... Worse if the contact is James Black.

I already explained..... they could still be lovers, which would be the same...Detective Tommy wrote: It came back on. I don't know what happened.

ah, gotcha. I mean, I still don't like investigations, but as I said I'm staying out of the kir discussions anyway.Kleene Onigiri wrote: No, Kir has both, Special investigation and betrayal. But she can just use on at night (like detectives can use either investigate or interrogate)
I'd also like to point out that schillok's said he's not adding Kir into his game, so she won't see anything for quite some time.

I posted this BEFORE reading your update. You red messaged me, But I can't edit my post now since you QUOTED it.Kleene Onigiri wrote:I already explained..... they could still be lovers, which would be the same...Detective Tommy wrote: It came back on. I don't know what happened.

Also, I do like the pairing of Betrayal + Special Investigation.
Since it would help with finding BO, since blame is into the game.
If Kir is lovers with Eri, she can help check if someone really did the crime they're blamed for.
Eri x Kir! /joking
So here are the four options:
NOC + Betrayal + Contact
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate
NOC + Betrayal + Special Investigate + Contact
Betrayal + Special Investigate + Contact

I wonder if Schillok wants to change anything. He said he has some ideas, right? Maybe he'll try that "taks"/"Mission" thingy?

I notice you said he, then she. WHICH IS IT AKONYL. MALE OR FEMALE? D:Akonyl wrote:ah, gotcha. Also, I don't want to overpower the town... I haven't been BO yet.
So when I am, and if Kir is in the game, she looks quite powerful...

"she", referring to Kir.
And if Eri x Kir happened, how would Kir check if people were really guilty of the crimes they'd been accused of? Investigations to those crimes would come back as true also.

OHHHHHHHHHHH
Oh, right... crap. I forgot. Is there anyway to check if someone was blamed?

Re: Mafia! Mafia! Mafia! Character Role Discussions
kleene was leaning towards no, which I sort of agree with tbh.
Also, perhaps blamed actions can't be found out (+arrested for) with House Arrest? After all, if he's just blaming someone, there wouldn't actually be any evidence to find in the person's house, and Megure would know that the person was just blamed anyway (as he learns their identity during the search).
