I don't know. Maybe because last game was the first Mafia game I played ever, but I don't understand why we are trying to reinvent the wheel here.

I say you just create 10 additional B.O. roles, assign them to everyone except Akonyl(he gets Ran), watch the hilarity ensue.

I protect myself

in the process, I sacrifice myself to save myself. However, because this results in me both dying and not dying, I fold out of existence, away from the BO's murderous gaze.

I see it more as dodging a bullet by striping yourself then going Xcommando and jumping in front of one that would have missed you.

Or better yet, give everybody a mafia role, tell them that they're the only mafia member there, and see who lives through it.  It'll be the internet version of Survivor.

we played with 13 people, all of them with ability to kill


so everyone Vote and created a Wanted list ....... and then the top of the "Wanted List" Dies ..

Callid, he would strike a dark evil deal with Akonyl via PM and then sell him out immediately to the others via PM. So in the end, he would strike an alliance with every member individually, manipulate who they kill, and use his kill to get rid off Akonyl. A perfect plan with no witness left behind.

Looks like they want you dead. I'll wait until I know if you're in my team or not, and will decide afterwards. However, considering the others' desires, you'll probably dead by then...

That's exactly my predicament too, intimidate fits better but "tricking" is a bit of a strong ability for the BO. Maybe Vodka can only intimidate people the day after he successfully kills someone? It sort of fits with the idea (because he just killed someone he's a bit menacing), and makes Vodka an interesting character ( :O! ) by making him become stronger as the game progresses, to the point where if he's the last BO, he can intimidate someone each day until he's caught (unless his killing is prevented).

Also, if Vodka is lynched, the intimidate he did that day wouldn't take effect the next night.
I'd say he can only intimidate every person once (after that, they are immune) and certain characters can't be terrified at all. I'd say that those who know of him (except for Ai and Agasa) can't be intimidated. So the FBI, Conan and Heiji can't be intimidated, and I'd add 1412, Okiya, Araide and the protectors.
Therefore the police, Hakuba, Agasa, Ai, Kogoro, Sonoko, Eri, Eisuke and the DBs can be intimidated.

Of course we could also change the last rule, but I consider the first one a very good idea. An, in opposite to tricking, it's even logical.

They Interrogate together. So, if one dies, they can still interrogate, right? And they won't be revealed as a group if 1 of them dies either?

Yes. Yes. It's only revealed that the deceased was Mitsuhiko (or Ayumi or Genta).
