Vermouth indeed disguises in this phase, just like 1412, and Yumi decides the lovers while Sonoko selects her best friend (of course only if all of them are participating  ;)).

Oh, and if both of them, 1412 and Vermouth, choose the same one (for example mangaluva), Vermouth will get mangaluva's role. After that, mangaluva is assigned a new role, and this one is taken by 1412. Now mangaluva will get a third role, and that will be the only one he knows he had (so he won't notice the disguising and role-taking). If Sonoko had chosen mangaluva as her best friend, the disguising wouldn't affect her as well, mangaluva would still be her best friend, not Vermouth or 1412 (to befriend them, she had to chose their real identities).

Start of the First Night.

The one who felt like it have now finished their preparations (as well as I have) and are ready for the start.

Beika, a relatively peaceful city with the occasional murder, which only happens when certain people are around, is about to have a rude wake-up call. Some members of the Black Organization are in town, and they have orders to kill someone. However, due to lost orders, they don't know who to kill, and thus must kill everyone... will the town wake up to its first murder?

After a day just like any other, the citizens of Beika go to sleep, yet one of them might not awake again...
