No,no,no!
Auto-arrest doesn't work under claims. James Rye told me he was KID disguised as James Rye, but I couldn't auto-arrest him just for that, it isn't logical. I talked with Kleene about this, that's why I know how it works, although this probably changes depending on the GM.

Yeah my nit-picky thing about the auto-arrest was:
If one is forced to auto-arrest (for example due to a (true) result for stealing), does that mean one cannot arrest someone else for something else during that phase?

it's clear that it needs to be clarified in kid's role in the role list, then.conia wrote: No,no,no!

Nope, normal arrest can also be used. I even planned to make a double arrest on Night 3, that's why I asked Kleene about it. I failed doing that btw T-TAbs. wrote: Yeah my nit-picky thing about the auto-arrest was:

I auto-arrested Kid in round 5 because I'd received "true" results for both Holmes (Kid) and Kleene (Vermouth) disguising as Ran. When Vermouth got lynched, Kid was auto-arrested because I knew for a fact that there was another person in disguise, and it could only be Kid. I remember Sakina felt she had to explain her reasoning that time, so right now it looks like it's ultimately the GM's call whether or not there's enough "reasonable doubt" to keep Kid from getting arrested.
If Vermouth is disguised as a policeman and finds out beyond doubt who Kid is, will she auto-arrest him?

Why would you guys want to arrest Kid though?
He is a town member! And if you arrest him, and say you arrested Kid...
If Eri breaks him out of jail, the BO will APTX him.

1) At least Kid can vote for lynching before being APTXed.
2) No one is under any obligation to reveal what someone is arrested for.

Which townies can be arrested, Kid and Eisuke?

Well.. yes. KID and Eisuke are the only townies that can be arrested (at the moment).
And as it was said before: Auto-arresting happens automatically once a police member knows for sure that a certain player is KID. It will not work on any other characters (like BO for example). It will not use up the normal arrest each police officer can try each day/night.
A player claiming to be kid is not enough. Only in a few situations - for example investigating the KID player stealing when it is known that there is no Akemi or finding out his disguise when there is no more Vermouth in the game will get him auto-arrested. Or maybe by a dream. Depends on a GM in the end.
Anyway, the KID-player should stay "fair" and "in character" anyway. So not admitting his role openly or to a player that might be police.
Eri is... pretty much useless. Like I expect her she would be in a real confrontation with the BO if it were to happen in the manga. Forget about her "lawsuit", it will be useful only in very few situations. Similar to her "Voice of Reason" that can stop a lynching once per game - it can be very useful in some situations but in some games it might not be needed at all. Like the real Eri the player having her role should more rely on his/her brains, not on his/her powers.
Something completely different:
Can we change how healing works?
Saving a townie is already strong enough. No reason to expose the mafia member trying to kill as well. So - when a player is successfully healed can we make it that the town will not learn the identity of the attacker?
To compensate for the loss I suggest that a player threated by "first aid" will now be "injured" - similar to Ran. That player would not be able to use his/her abilities anymore, but can still participate in the lynch voting (and talk freely, of course). Such an injured player will not die the next day anymore.
I think that would be better. We can leave the protectors the way they are now. They have certain disadvantages (getting injured/flaying away) when they protect to compensate for the advantage of learning the attackers identity and they can't protect themselves.

Healing doesn't expose the mafia member, though. Talking about First Aid, I think it's fair enough, tbh. Due to the fact that once the player is injured, they can't lynch vote or do anything other than talk until they die at the end of the phase, it's really hardly "healing" at all, it's just sort of a version of Sonoko's ability that can switch between players each night (adn doesn't get to learn the other person's identity). An Okiya who used First Aid every night on the same person would actually be worse than Sonoko.Schillok wrote: Something completely different:

Not to mention, it's apparently not a good enough ability anyway, because basically every Okiya player that I've seen has just used Detect, and never First Aid.
