It was the last 6 characters of the md5 hash of the following text:shinichi'sapprentice wrote:so what does this mean?Togop wrote:It's not a code. Part of the reason I supported the alliance was that I thought it was a good idea. Another part was that it was an opportunity to test Jd- , who I was suspicious of. I figured I may want to prove that later on.Normally, the spy would start killing people from the alliance as soon as it's created. I'll wait two days after now. If that doesn't happen, it probably means the spy is interested in the existence of such an alliance. This makes whoever suggested the alliance suspicious.

I want to apologize that I was inactive. I recently got a job and and school is more of pain. I did watched over this thread throughout the game, but its exactly what Raifuujin said. I just got nothing to say without myself looking suspicious of being spy. I am just curious what were the orders from the spy to the informants were. Also I was in Jd-s's list again???? I am just surprise that he didn't point fingers at me this round. <_<

A quick check shows no PM from her then so I don't think so.shinichi'sapprentice wrote:question for Stopwatch: did Kaito Lady voted in day 2, or did she not?
Her list was as follows, if that's of any use:
1. Cider
2. dumytru
3. Fujiwara
4. monsi
5. breva
6. Jecka
7. shinichi'sapprentice

I guess Raiden is busy today. Stoppy, what orders were sent? Was any order sent for Prep phase?

Short answer: No :x...stop being impatient, Jd.Jd- wrote:I guess Raiden is busy today. Stoppy, what orders were sent? Was any order sent for Prep phase?

I was going to type up a longer post with a proper response--although I am curious myself, was no one able to figure out the signal I asked the informant to identify them by? FYI: It's hidden in plain sight in the thread. :V
Hint: Jd's post followed by Breva's actually concealed it pretty well. I was eternally grateful for Jd for that <3
**Edits** Oops meant to post this the other day but got distracted by something. :x
I am sorry? :VKleene Onigiri wrote:Raiden! Stop being the spy! XD Dammit! XD
It was the mold! It whispered sweet promises of shiny treasures in my ear which lead me down the path of the ninja-spy again! Forgive me! D:
The game from my perspective:Jd- wrote:This round turned out really well and some really great discussions came out of it, as well as some interesting new ruling ideas. I'll post those ideas in the central topic later today as they come to me.
So, let's clear up some of the stuff that happened here. How did one of Raiden's informants die like that? What happened on Day 2? What were the orders? Who did Fujiwara investigate over the course of the game? Etc etc etc. Really keen to hear what everyone was up to.
I wasn't feeling very well last week, had caught a cold of some other nasty bug. :V
Prep Phase/Day 1:
What happened here was I went to take a nap in the evening, expecting to wake up an hour or two later with a clearer mind but slept through the night instead. Missing the opportunity to send in any orders. I really didn't do this on purpose though. I'm sorry.

I selected a random person and hoped it wouldn't be one of the informants while sending in my actions Day 1. I should have known that with my luck I would shoot one of the informants down... *Le sigh*

Day 2:
I was slightly busy and had somehow managed to mix-up phase change to be 22 instead of 21:30 - I came back ~15 minutes (21:45) to check for new posts and instead saw the phase change had already been posted and went

On the bright side: I kinda enjoyed reading everyone's reaction and theories of what happened in the days following that incident though.

You too? Maybe we mind-linked there since I was pretty certain I would get arrested by a majority vote because of Jd's little clique; making it impossible for a tie to occur. XDFujiwara wrote:I was pretty sure I was going to die today though ...
I guess I underestimated my secret undercover agent Kleene's efforts in clearing my name... I'm sorry oneechan! I shan't ever doubt your powers of persuasion again!

If anyone is interested here was my deductions before Day 6's phase change was posted:
Spy: Me
Informant#2: Breva
Detective: Togof? Jecka? Fujiwara?
Arrested: Cider, dumytru, Kaito Lady, Meme
Dead: Conan-chandesune[Informant #1], Googleearth, Edo-chan, RoboG55
Civilians: Miyano_shiho, Yuri Iwamoto, Kamite, Kleene, Shinichi's Apprentice, Jellitto, monsi, Jd-, Raifuu
^ Most of these deductions was based on votings and what people had posted in the thread (others were based on the what my gut feeling told me). Initially I had Fujiwara listed as possible civilian until Jd began making those long-ish posts (the one in which he wanted to be investigated cemented his townness to me), then Jd and Fujiwara swapped places.
Spoiler: Last actions(if anyone is interested):
He may have been right in voting me, but his reasons for it was inaccurate. If I had been able to pay more attention to the game I would have done things a little different; foremost not killing Edo-chan (or Conan for that matter ;x), I knew Edo probably was a civilian, not sure why I send in a kill for him. o.O Friday was a bit of a blur for me since I had a headache most of the day and just rushed through with sending in actions in the evening.
I considered either executing Jd or Robo the day afterward since they were both on my suspect list, should have gone with Jd after all...

Next time it shall be; now you have been warned Jd-!

All in all, this was a very close game--dahsdahdasdh*headdesk* If only I had voted for Rai-chan instead we might have been able to break the bad luck in the beginning of the game and win!
Good game, all. *hugs*
@Fujiwara: *Tips hat* Let's meet face-to-face another time my dear rival. Next time shall have a different ending! >:3

Spoiler: ...
Really? You didn't a very good job at it then, on the contrary, I wanted you to live since I knew you was civilian (and a suspected one no less). Such a person is always good to have around! One of many reasons why I vouched for you over Togop.shinichi'sapprentice wrote: ...
~.~ sorry for being difficult. throughout the game, i started to believe Fujiwara was the detective. he was making good deductions. at least by being suspicious, i thought i'd get the spy pissed off of me so he'll target me instead. but eh.

Yeahno. That's not really me...Jd- wrote:And, to note, I think the reason Raiden got arrested quickly within a phase is he's quite a gentle dude, so he's not really one to be in-yo'-face with a debate and such. As a Spy in future rounds (), it'll be good for him to have 2+ informants to help misdirect people from him once his name gets mentioned as Togop did here.

Since both Breva and I are both pretty quiet, it's lucky we had Kleene on our side at the end. The civilians would never see her coming when the mold took over the town! <3
Could have used Conan's help, if he had been alive there, I would probably have been more optimistic about the phase and not labelled my PM with actions to Stop with: "[Espionage round 2] Day 6 Endgame? :V".
He was probably the "Talker" on our team. :x XD
Three dots also known as an ellipsis, yes, but I did not specify where in the post. XDgoogleearth wrote:Okay, wild guess:Beginning the post with three periods?breva wrote:... I'm sorry Cider D: but lol at the spy killing the informant
I wanted it to be up to the informant how they formulated their post so it looked natural, so just asked Breva to add an ellipsis somewhere in her first post after phase change.

*Edit* Looks like Breva hijacked me on that point. Oh well.

Conan's order was "Please identify yourself by not using a capital letter in the first sentence of your post." But that never came to be since he ran into my scope in an attempt to take down Jd- for me...
Rest In Peace, Conan. You fought bravely and shall be remembered!

For both orders I had analyzed all posts in thread up to that point before sending them in. I felt pretty confident I would be able to note the signals for each of them...and I was right in that assumption too (well at least for Breva's signal; can't be 100% certain with Conan since he ended up dying). I know neither of them are very outstanding in cleverness, but it was all I could think of at the time being...

The best part of those signals was that they were subtle; I like subtlety. Subtlety is good! >:3
Orders for the other days consisted of suggestions for vote & who i was thinking of executing next(for coordination, etc), and later on my deductions of who I suspected as Detective and who I was pretty sure was civilian (a lot of them hit the spot actually, amazing what you can preen from votes alone--as I mentioned elsewhere, the inactive voters kinda stood out...).
I hope this answers everyone's questions? If not speak you mind with what confused you / was left out.

Spoiler: For Breva and Conan's eyes only!

Re: ESPIONAGE: Round Two (Detective and Civilians Win)
It seems Kaito Lady didn't send in a vote for Day 2, so Stop made her vote Cider since that's the first name on her list and the result was a tie. She realised only after she posted the phase change that Cider was already out of the game, and changed Kaito Lady's vote to dumytru who's the second on her list.shinichi'sapprentice wrote:question for Stopwatch: did Kaito Lady voted in day 2, or did she not?
- So it was a coincidence that Raifuu, Kaito Lady, and breva were the deciding votes on the first two Days? All three of them voted Cider on Day 1 and dumytru on Day 2...
- So it was a coincidence that no one died Day 2, since the Spy just forgot to send his actions?
- So it was a coincidence rather than an evil plan that one of the Informants died on Day 1?
- Also: Raiden was the Spy again, which is nothing more than a coincidence.
My point being, coincidences do occur. Throughout the game some people have tried to argue that because one unlikely thing has already happened, the chance of another is, all of a sudden, lower. That's not how this works. Just because there have already been more coincidences than one would expect doesn't mean additional ones become less likely.
The chance of the Informant Conan-chandesune accidentally voting the other Informant Day 1 is what it is. It's got nothing to do with whether the Spy decides to kill him or not.
That as well. The chance of Raiden being the Spy is what it is. It's got nothing to do with whether he was Spy last round.Fujiwara wrote:[...] Probabilities, people, probabilities! Mathematically everyone has the exact same chance of being the spy/detective/whatever, even though this may seem counter-intuitive. [...]
Just felt the need to point that out now 'cause, due to my death, I wasn't able to before.
Okay, wild guess:Raiden wrote:[...]

No. Wasn't Raiden's fault, but it likely caused the death of Conan-chandesune which was unfortunate :/.Jd- wrote:I guess Raiden is busy today. Stoppy, what orders were sent? Was any order sent for Prep phase?
