Hey now, I wasn't *actually* Anokata, just a bossy Tequila. And I was just suggesting an actual way to form an alliance, if people were so inclined, rather than xpon's suspicious one.

And you got me, I wanna kill every one of you. But you were wrong on the method of killing though. I was going to put you in a warehouse, set the warehouse on fire and then ALSO put the burnt warehouse through a garbage compressor, not one or the other.

Actually I think such an investigator alliance would be a great idea. But I wouldn't say that investigator is a weak ability, both games when I was Hakuba I missed the ability to investigate and prove the roles of other players very much.

On the other hand according to my experience there were only a handful of investigators in each game and the loss of one of them right at the beginning of the formation of alliances set the group-building back by a lot. Relying on Akonyl to find other investigators without knowing which side he is on sounds like a trap... allowing the BO to identify the investigators early in the game to kill them so checking each others roles becomes impossible.

mm, true about investigating other roles to form alliances, however it's also true that other roles may be less inclined to waste their action to prove themselves than investigators if they have other ideas, who only have to use 1/5th of their action

I'm just gonna say right now that I find xpon's style of posting suspicious (unlike last game where I just wanted to get him lynched), and kleene to a lesser extent.

I'm just saying this right now so when it turns out they're both BO in the end, I can look super awesome.

As for alliances, if all police/fbi/detectives feel like trusting people, you can make an investigator pact on night 1 by getting together with all other people who claim to be investigators, and agree to investigate every other person investigating you. Then if every person did as they were told, everybody will turn up as True, meaning you are all actually investigators 100% and can be trusted. If anyone is shown to have not investigated, it of course means they lied and are likely a BO.

You can only do that on Night 1 though, before the bowtie comes into play, so if you want to do that you might wanna hurry up.
If you don't want to say you're an investigator in the thread, you can feel free to PM me and I'll set you up with each other, as I'm actually not an investigator.
It's also not very dangerous to say you're an investigator, because aside from your ability to make pacts, you could just be an FBI agent (who are pretty bad characters tbh)

Well, I have the feeling that whatever I say, I'll sound suspicious. And I think I can only gain trust with facts (so my ability get's investigated or I get interrogated or followed etc.)
That's why I'm currently playing more "open" than the last rounds, which could get me killed faster or lynched faster XD

I like that investigation idea. But I don't have an investigation ability, so I can't "participate" anyway.
But even if they all do that during night 1, there is still a possibility that Vermouth got a "investigator role" or that an investigator is a lover with another BO and pretend to investigate the same stuff as the lover. So not a 100% trust imo.

You can't slander investigations, just interrogations. But in case someone say that he'll interrogate someone in public so that people can investigate it, then yes, Gin can abuse that (but investigators too)

But I still find it a bit fishy, even though it might be a good idea I got a hunch (not like a hunchback btw) that's not liking it. And I was right about what role I would get so I'll trust my hunches this game.

One question, what's that "Slander" thing??

It's Gins ability. Gin can choose to slander someone at night "Gin slanders pofa" Then at the same night, an detective with interrogation interrogates pofa. If pofa is Ran, it would be "no BO" normally. But since pofa got slandered, he'll get "BO"
Same case when pofa is vodka. Should get "BO" but because pofa is slandered the detective get's "not BO" as a response.

you're less suspicious than xpon because me thinking you're suspicious is based on how suspicious I think xpon is. Given how suspicious I think his posts look, I'm suspicious of your willingness to make a pact with him so easily.

as for vermouth, that is also very true. However, depending on how many people make the alliance you may be able to sniff out that odd dissenting voice and lynch them later. But either way, that doesn't seem like a problem since nobody else has mentioned forming the alliance and I've yet to get any PMs about it, so I don't think it's gonna happen.
as for lovers, pretending to investigate the same things as your lover wouldn't work because each person has to investigate people investigating themselves, and the other investigators would get false reports back when they investigate " investigates me".

I decided to leave my computer out of the line of fire...and then slept 2-3 hours. I can only conclude that this was a poisoning attempt by the BO in order to incapacitate me, but they'll have to do better than that.
