Re: Mafia Round 58: Professor Layton and the Immortal Gem [Day 8]
So, nobody told me why you want to kill me. I was accused of being evil but without any proofs. Therefore I'm unable to prove that Grosky is wrong. We're short in town people, so we should not kill each other blindly. In fact even the BO can randomly accuse people to get rid of them.
I'm innocent. I'm going to vote Aryan. I didn't notice that Oswald was already killed, that's why I mentioned him before.

Re: Mafia Round 58: Professor Layton and the Immortal Gem [Day 8]
The Professor waited at the park with everyone, the book in one hand.
"Layton!"
He turned to see Descole coming towards him. He tipped his hat at the other and held out the tome.
"I've already looked though it. There isn't much in it, however..." he pulled a piece of paper out of a pocket with the other hand as the scientist took hold of the book and turned it over in his hands. Descole looked at the paper for a moment before finally putting the tome under one arm and accepting the note.
"Hello, guests from London! I apologise for what has befallen you during your stay in Japan. As one with the same quest, I should have contacted you once I realised your intentions in coming here. Unfortunately, I cannot help what has already happened. I don't mean to seem insensitive to those that have been unlucky in your mission, but I must ask that you leave finding Pandora to me. If you continue, someone will eventually meet a much worse fate...
Also, it may interest you to know that the miss with the purple hair seems to be of the same vocation as myself, albeit, for a more nefarious group.....
- Kaitou Kid ツ"
Descole turned to the specified person, a smirk forming on his face.
"Well, Miss Katia.... It appears an unexpected ally has informed us that you're not one who is really here to assist us...."
She looked surprised at the accusation, but it soon turned into on of shame.
"I...I'm sorry. I thought..." Katia(Akemi) turned away.
"I'll just return to London. I'm sure Anton needs some support..."
Summary: Katia (Akemi) was lynched.

What limits are you referring to? I am just doing my job.

We do not just back away because something could be dangerous.
~o~
Will I be not putting more danger to the people around me if I don't do anything? And that's no reason one should hide behind a mask.
~o~
I am not forgetting that someone did ask for my help in a letter, so I am not really stealing anyone else's job.

I told you all that I'm innocent. You lynched me anyway, just to confirm my words about that. You people are more evil than I and my organization is and ever was. When we kill people, we have strong reasons for doing so; you kill innocent young girls only because someone with a fake ID card shouted - "lynch her!" Who is more evil? You or I?

Maybe I got something wrong, but Akemi is BO, right?
Because you stole from us two people died. There's no way you can call that innocent.

Most importantly, once out of the game, players have to refrain from making any type of comments that may influence the game. Let the discussions of Day 8 be part of the past now, the game must continue.

Layton's not the only one who can give a riddle, you know.
Though, I suppose mine aren't as 'random' as his are, since he can be reminded of them at the most random times.... but I'm sure a general one will be fine.
"Alone I am 24, with a friend I am 20. Another friend, and I am unclean. Who am I?"

Since when do you not listen to reason?!

Job? More like a fool's errand. You and I both know perfectly well the danger it carries.
~o~
Oh? So you'd be willing to put the people around you in danger? Because unlike myself and that thief, you don't have a mask to hide behind. And they will exploit that.
~o~
It's not as though they'll be allowed to find the gem just because you stop looking. He already said he'd take care of it. If you want to be such a gentleman, then you wouldn't want steal someone else's job.
~o~
Ah, yes, that mysterious 'concerned' person who put everyone else at risk in the first place. I'm sure their request completely justifies continuing.

Is it, somehow, related to this game of Mafia?

Not particularly, no. I did say it would be generic, did I not?
