"Huh? Uh..."

Shin was clearly not paying attention when Alice asked her. She seemed to be looking for something.

"Should we bring the kid? Uhh... I don't see why that can be a problem.. uhh.." Her eyes darted from left to right. "Your call... uh... Alice."

[alicetama]

"Okay, well... sure... I guess the more the merrier, as they say." Alice said. 'Darn it! But I don't wanna sound rude to the kid...' She then looked back at Shin who seemed to be in a daze. "You okay, Shin?" She asked worriedly.

"Yay!" conanedogawa142 cheered. He was obviously faking.

"Huh? Uhhh... me? I'm fine, I'm fine!" Shin smiled at Alice. "So... shall we get going?" She grabbed both the kid and Alice's hand and pulled them away.

'What's up with this kid? He's obviously faking his excitement... could he be faking the whole kid persona?' Alice thought to herself. She then blushed at Shin holding her hand. 'Gosh, I really need to stop blushing so easily...' She thought to herself.

Shin, oblivious to Alice's predicament, tightened her grip on Alice and started to run. "I know! Let's look at the tigers!"

'I need to keep up the act."

She noticed that Shin's grip tightened. Not that Alice wasn't enjoying it, of course but she kept thinking to herself 'Why do I always do this?' She then asked Conan "Hey, kid, have you ever seen a tiger before?" Smiling at him.

"Yes," conanedogawa142 replied.
Shin is obviously hiding something, conanedogawa142 thought. I have a bad feeling about her..

"Ahh, really? That's amazing. Where was it?" Alice asked the boy.

"I went with my dad to the zoo a long time ago.." conanedogawa142 said.

[Yurikochan]

Staring out the window she blinked looking over the zoo. She rubbed where the ring was unconsciously. "Even if I did get into the zoo area, I'd be arrested. No one would think a kidnapper would take a victim to a zoo..." She sighed thinking to herself. "My husband hasn't been home for four days since he visited Callid-san. There hasn't been any sign or response from him." She picked up the phone and texted his number.

"Please text me. I haven't heard from you in days. Koi-chan may even be alone right now. I'm in danger... she sent the message as tears filled her eyes.

"I went with my dad to the zoo a long time ago.." conanedogawa142 said.

"Oh, I see... wait, a long time ago? You're very young, though." She said, looking at him suspiciously. "That, and there aren't many zoos with tigers, unless you count this one."

"W-well.." conanedogawa142 stammered. "M-my dad took me here a year ago, I think."
Conanedogawa142 thought about last year, when he was still a teenager, instead of a seven or eight year old kid. He sighed.

"Oh... I see..." 'There is definetly something up with this kid.' Alice thought to herself. 'And I'm going to get to the bottom of it.'
