I thought of Vermouth with the apple, too. But I wonder if Gin really is in the game. The fact that he was so front-and-center in the video and drinking a different type of alcohol (Bourbon) makes me think it's a red herring to make us not believe any interrogation results and mistrust our investigators. Although, if there is a Vermouth in the game, maybe we shouldn't believe interrogation results/investigators anyway.

And even though the apple's fresh, I'm thinking it may reference vermouth, though perhaps it's fresh because of whatever disguise she had. And, if we went through with the whole "1/3 town is BO, minus 1" thing, that would equate to around 4 BO, which should be all of them.

I agree.  And I think there's a high chance that Bourbon and one of the snipers are as well...  What if the apple points to Vodka?

And the GM usually does 1/3 of the player = BO.

So it's probably (might not be) 5 or 6 BO. (7 vs 10 is a little too high?)

Why would the videotape give hints about only 4 characters?

I only got Gin, Bourbon, Snipergun and the apple. Which = 4 hints.
But if the cigar is a hint too, then that's 5 hints.

Well, Elika is clearly on. She just wrote a comment in the off-topic area, but not one in here.
Well, if you two are for xpon, then i will also vote for xpon.
Cause it´s as good of a choice then anyone else.

Well, couldn´t the apple not also be Vermouth?
About the cigar i do wonder now, Gin smokes ciagrettes in canon and not cigars, so it could be a hint, too. False or not - that´s the question. (Shakespear anyone?^g^)
The cigar could also imply that there´s no Anokata and that Gin is in charge of the BO. I rather have that then Anokata and Gin plus some Bourbon/Vodka/vermouth and campers (XD).
