I'm going to do a little thinking over the next little bit. Hmmmmm...

Hmm, tempting, to be completely honest ...if there is such a thing as honesty in a game like this?...I am uncertain where to place you yet, but as there are others which are more suspicious than you at the moment, yes, we can exchange a +2 vote this phase and see where it leads. =)

I'm still thinking about what to do next (I had one idea ready just then but I want to do some more thinking before settling into just one path for this phase).

Curious minds want to know if you have come up with a brilliant idea to bring about justice for all!

Ideally, yes, but it appears everyone's got caught up in securing there own life (by gaining votes) rather than finding the spies. :x

The thing is there isn't much to back up a reason as to why I shouldn't vote somebody, its too soon in the game for that as of yet.

I was hoping to find some time for Espionage before now, but it's been a busy day...

This all-out voting exchange is not a good plan. Securing your own life through 1-2 votes (like I did with Jd- as well) is one thing, but as I said yesterday, the rest of the votes should ideally stay free to actually make a difference. Exchanging 5 votes may guarantee that you're not lynched, but the Spies can do the same while happily killing us 2 at a time. Is that really what you want to aim for here?

I think both discussing who deserves votes and who doesn't deserve them makes sense. What doesn't help us is just aimlessly selling our votes to people.
As for myself, I don't have particularly strong suspicions about anyone yet, but won't be giving votes to people who detract too much from the aim of the game.
On the other hand, besides the vote for my bff Jd- (who is obviously town because BO can't befriend Sonoko-- wait, wrong game :x), I'll be giving my votes to people who make useful contributions. And no, I don't require these people to vote me back..

Kudos to Yuri for being the first to point out this problem, for which she'll definitely get at least one of my votes.

Another vote will be going to Stopwatch for pointing out the danger of simply voting for people on your list yesterday. (I'd already decided on my votes for Day 1 at that point and decided to leave them as they were.)

Not sure what I'll do with my remaining 2 votes yet...

What I mean is: Let's say a detective gives Raiden and Jecka 2 votes each today and then is killed. What information have we gained? We know at least one of them is Town, sure, but we don't know which. We can't just keep them both alive (by giving them votes) because one of them could well be a Spy. Even the 2nd Detective can't exclude them from his investigations, because he doesn't know which one is the townie. As far as I can see, the Detective totally fails to leave us useful information with this method.

Ah. I see. Well, my point is if a detective dies right at this phase, it's better to have at least narrowed down two potential NOT SPY people than having nothing to go with at all.

Well, we don't have to always vote them. Or rather, not everyone have to gives votes to them for the rest of the game. And there are ways to see if they are spy or not. Discussions.

Good point. But that's where discussions come in. As I may have mentioned, we can't just rely on what the detectives do. Detectives investigate. Civilians have lists. Spies got nothing except the fact that they know that they're the spy and should eliminate everyone as fast as they could. The Lists are a very powerful weapon. It's not just about considering people not in the list as suspicious but also making it as a reference to who one should put trust on. And with discussions, one can see if someone will slip or something.

If you say so... I still believe that having a little of something is better than scrambling on nothing.
