Not a good idea.  It gives too much information.  

Example 1:  Gin investigates Callid and Chekhov on Night 1.  Receives fail for both.  Gin: "Okay, Callid and Chekhov are travelers, so one is Makoto and the other is Hakuba."

Example 2:  Vodka kills Akonyl on Night 1.  Receives fail.  "Okay Akonyl is either Makoto or Hakuba."  (Because if Akonyl had been healed or protected somehow, there would be no fail message.  And if he was discombobulated, he'd get the 'you were discombobulated' message per your suggestion.)
