Again, the BO (presumably) has found the information necessary to APTX a townie. One or two players probably couldn't do that, unless both nights were just lucky guesses. Otherwise, like was mentioned before, they could be pooling their abilities to target just one person, so they'd have the information they need.

Either that, or identities were accidentally revealed to them.

That's possible. If Bourbon or Akemi detected a role, they could have shared that information and then worked with with anything else they had. However, since there are only a few BO, they wouldn't be able to guarantee that it would work, especially not both times (since approximately 1/3 of the players should be BO, not accounting for the dead, they'd have only about a 50/50 shot). In this case, they'd still have to use some of their other abilities (or some PM investigation) to narrow it down enough to be reasonably sure.

Admittedly, two points does not a pattern make. If this sort of thing keeps happening, we might be able to make some better conclusions - though I'd be wary of tricks. Should they have a better way, in which they could 'save up' and APTX multiple townies after a hiatus, the pattern would seem false - though they would then have changed their methods, a new point of investigation.

Either way, the BO got lucky. Too lucky. No matter what tactics they used and if they guessed the role or knew it was in.

Hmm, was it noted that the number of BO could have changed?

But for example with 20 players:

18 non-lovers and 2 lovers.
1/3 of 18players would be the BO number usually in normal games (roughly) so 6. But I want to make it a smaller BO group here, since a group has an advantage here. so 1/3 - 1 instead. So 5 BOs.

Then there would be 13 Towns. 1/3 would be ~4 town people and 1/3 of BO so ~2 BOs, so lovers would need to kill 6 players altogether.
I could also make 1/3-1 of the Town, so it would be 3 Towns to kill instead of 4. (was thinking to go with that maybe).

As I understood the above post (pg. 1), Kleene wanted there to only be about 6 or 7 BOs for our group of 22.

I do agree, though, that if we don't figure out what method(s) the BOs are using, we might be in trouble. Unless we have a good way to contact each other (townies only) and from there decide on strategies to start APTXing them, we could easily be taken out before anyone gets information that's useful.

Poor SA. This is tricky. On one hand I want to keep saying what I think happened but I don't want to give the BO ideas they may not have had already :V But I'd say it might be wise for people to try to aptx for snipers/Bourbon/Akemi or try to find them. SIers may want to see if anyone observed SA.
