"If absolutely necessary", I would. Though, with my definition of "absolutely necessary", it is basically impossible that there'd be a case where I would act that way without it being some kind of self-defence, so if you mean the legal definition, my answer would likely be the opposite.

I don't think anybody likes annoying know-it-all brats who reveal their deductive skills at any given point of time even though the point of the series they're in is supposed to make them solve cases from the shadows.
