In the ORANGE room...
[cinnamoroll, Conia, dumytru, Iwamoto Yuri, Kleene Onigiri, miyano_shiho, Raiden, shinichi'sapprentice, Yurikochan]
"Well, I know exactly where I'm going," Conia says matter-of-factly, and he marches directly across the room and walks face first into the door that Raiden and several others had just come through.
"Jerkface, I don't think you can go that way," says Yurikochan, pulling him away from the door. "You have to choose one of these circles."
"I blame Raiden. He confused me with his... Raiden-ness..." Conia mutters as he rubs his sore nose. "In that case, I'm picking this one!" He points to the southern circle and moves to stand in it. "Who's with me?"
Iwamoto Yuri, Raiden and cinnamoroll join Conia in the southern circle, while Yurikochan, dumytru, miyano_shiho, shinichi'sapprentice and Kleene Onigiri all move over to the northern circle.
"Now what?" asks Raiden.
"Now, I guess we wait," replies shinichi'sapprentice.
All of a sudden, the floor starts moving. Specifically, the floor inside the circles starts moving. The ground in the northern circle slowly starts moving upward, and the floor in the southern circle moves downward.
"Yay! An elevator!" Yurikochan shouts gleefully, and that's the last that the southern group hears from the northern group.
Meanwhile, in the GREEN room...
[darkest absol, Henry Gordan, Jecka, Kaito Lady, Memesu, MoonRaven, pofa]
"Are we sure this is safe?" Memesu asks.
MoonRaven looks at her with a raised eyebrow. "What kind of question is that? Of course it isn't safe. Nothing about this is safe!"
"You know, I'm getting kind of hungry," Henry Gordan says suddenly. "I mean, we've already been here like a full twenty-four hours and we haven't eaten anything."
"Hey, you're right!" agrees darkest absol. "Do you think they'll ever give us food? Or something to drink?"
"I think we'll be lucky if they even remember we're here," says pofa.
"Let's just make our decisions already," Kaito Lady says with a sigh as she moves to stand in the western square.
As soon as everyone else has made their decision, the floor moves.
Jecka, who is also in the western square, looks up as they rise. "Hey, looks like the ceiling opened! ...Or maybe it was always like that and we just never noticed."
Let's check in on our SOUTH CIRCLE team...
[cinnamoroll, Conia, Iwamoto Yuri, Raiden]
The floor drops them into a grey room.
"Well, this is boring," says cinnamoroll. "Couldn't they have picked another color besides grey?"
"Maybe they were running out of options," Iwamoto Yuri points out.
"I think we're supposed to go through that door," Raiden says, gesturing towards the only door in the room.
Conia nods, his face still kind of sore. "I don't see anything else to do, so you're probably right."
They pull the door open and move out into the hallway. It winds a little bit as they walk through it, and then there's a large staircase leading up. At the top of the stairs is a sliding door.
As they move inside the room just past the door, their jaws simultaneously drop in shock.
The EAST SQUARE team...
[darkest absol, Henry Gordan, Memesu, MoonRaven]
After coming to a stop in the room below where they were, they look around to find that it's been painted purple.
Aside from a door, there's not much else of interest going on in the room, so they quickly move forward to pull the door open.
As they make their way down the straight hallway, Memesu stumbles a little bit. "Huh, I think the floor felt a little bit unstable there. Watch your step, guys."
The rest of the group moves around to avoid the spot that Memesu pointed to.
"I wonder what our next choice will be," MoonRaven muses. "More doors?"
"Maybe we'll have to choose a red or blue pill," darkest absol jokes.
Ignoring them, Memesu approaches the door ahead of them as it slides open to let them in. "First elevators, and now sliding doors? I'm kind of impressed that they wasted money on that kind of technology."
"Well, they clearly have plenty of money to spare," says Henry Gordan, a little bit in awe as he looks around.
And the WEST SQUARE team...
[Jecka, Kaito Lady, pofa]
"So it's just us then?" asks Jecka rhetorically as their elevator moves them upward into a yellow room.
"Guess so. Oh well, we're the cool ones." Kaito Lady clings to pofa, trying not to fall off of the moving floor.
The elevator comes to a stop, and they eye the door suspiciously. pofa is the first to move forward and pull it open. "We need to go through here, looks like. We've got another hallway ahead of us."
"Oh yay, another hallway," mutters Kaito Lady.
It's long, and a little bit winding, and they end up having to walk down a giant staircase, but at least there's not choices to make just yet. By the time they reach the sliding door at the end of the staircase, they're just relieved to be nearly there (they hope).
The door slides open, and as they look inside, they're even more relieved.
And, finally, we now jump back to our NORTH CIRCLE team...
[dumytru, Kleene Onigiri, miyano_shiho, shinichi'sapprentice, Yurikochan]
After what feels like forever, the elevator finally stops and they find themselves in a purple room.
miyano_shiho looks around curiously. "There's no sign in here, and only one door. Does that mean there's no decision to make here?"
"I guess so," says dumytru. "The door's open anyway."
shinichi'sapprentice is the first to move through the door, and the others trail behind him. The hallway ahead of them is brightly lit and straight, leading to a door.
"Well, this seems too easy," Yurikochan comments.
shinichi'sapprentice (Kid-Akai) nods in a agreement, but doesn't say anything. He takes a few steps forward, when suddenly the floor falls out from under him and he drops below, never to be seen again.
"Umm..." says miyano_shiho, but she isn't sure what to follow that up with.
"That just happened, right?" asks Kleene Onigiri. "Should we... go after him?"
dumytru glances down into the hole shinichi'sapprentice fell through. "I'm pretty sure we'd fall to our deaths if we tried. Let's just keep moving."
They all carefully maneuver themselves around the hole and walk towards the door, which slides open as they approach it.
Inside in a large, rectangular room, the walls lines with couches. There's a buffet of food and drinks set up on one end, and everyone else (literally, everyone else... except for poor shinichi'sapprentice) is already there.
The sign on the wall reads 15.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," says pofa as she sees the last group enter the room. "Our choices literally mean nothing. They're torturing us just for the sake of torturing us."
"Welcome to the first rest area, particpants," says a loud voice over a speaker, and they recognize it as the same as the one that introduced them to this place when they arrived. "Congratulations on making it this far. It's too bad about your friend. He will be missed.
"At this time, there is no decision to be made. Take some time to rest, as I'm sure you're all exhausted and hungry. We'll get back to you shortly to let you know what your next task is. Enjoy!"
All players:
There is no choice to make today. Instead, if you'd like, you can send me random things you'd like to do for the next phase (such as sleeping or braiding Conia's hair or something). You don't have to, I can always make stuff up, but I'll try to work in anything you guys tell me. Remember that these actions are separate from role actions and are for story purposes only.
