Oh, well in that case, talk to Yuri-chan: she's responsible; she's the one to blame; It's her fault! (ITW FTW)

yeah, my killing wasn't protected/healed, I was discombobulated, so the action should've been treated as false so that I couldn't be found out/arrested for it. :-X
Actually, I think Hayley was protected. If Edo told you that the kill failed rather than telling you the target was healed/protected, then that's most likely a mistake. Unless shihokudo tricked you.
^ That was poor wording on my part. ^^'' hopelessidiot was protected by bluekaitou1412 on Night 3.

I asked someone else how to handle it that way and they told me the killing failed. And IIRC you don't give them the way. But now that I know. I'll say protected/heal next time. (And re-read the rules)
Mafia: The only place where you can find Gin and Akai married together with 8 kids all disguised as Akai. Or something epic like that.

The rules state that in the case of healing, you should notify the attacker that that's what happened, however it doesn't mention anything about it in protection (though, if you attack someone and they live and you don't get a healing notification, then it's obvious it was a protection anyway )

It was a protection sooo, I'd like to know how to handle it for next time. Maybe we should change the rules to healing/protection gives the BO a same notification so they don't know what it was. And like I said I'll know it now for next time. In Breva's story, it talked about her getting tricked. Where you didn't slip on a banana peel or fall apart so. and since there was no doctor involved. \o/

I don't see a need for making healing+protection give the same notification really (and it would make a fair bit of sense because healing doesn't screw over the BO while protection does ), but it does need to be made clear that the killing action still succeeded, even if it didn't have the desired result.
And if you're going by the story in the post, you should've made it clearer that I attacked her but failed to follow through with it, instead of just saying I couldn't find her, which suggests discombobulation (as I never attacked her in that scenario)
I vote to remove the "Lovey-dovey works like protection" line and just define Lovey-dovey as its own entity with its own place in the Order of Actions (For example, can Lovey-dovey be discombobulated/frightened/detained against? As of now, it can.)
