Don't worry 'bout it, if also been getting a lot of internet problems lately. The "Q" stands for Queen, the + is for a check.AbEgho wrote: Sorry for the unreasonable delay! The internet has been quite intermittent lately, on my side.
And I'm not at all familiar with the additional characters you are using; so what is the "Q" and the "+" for?
In chess notation, one usually prefaces a move with a letter to represent the piece that moved:AbEgho wrote: And I'm not at all familiar with the additional characters you are using; so what is the "Q" and the "+" for?
Seems like it. Good Game. ^_^AbEgho wrote: think this is officially done
Technically, Kd7-e6 is not a legal move, as you are still in check at the end of your move. Your only legal options are f6-f5 or e7-e6. f6-f5 results in Bg4xf5 which then forces e7-e6. After e7-e6, the white bishop takes e6, forcing the black king to move to e7, where he will be safe for a short while. White definitely has a huge upper hand in this board position, but the game's technically not over yet. Still, it's not unreasonable for black to surrender the game at this point, which is what I'm guessing you did, AbEgho.
I'm not sure what you mean. I enjoy looking at a game and thinking about what moves are good ones, and what moves could have been made better, but I don't know of any system or tool you can use. Then again, I'm a pretty casual player. Some of the others on this board know more about openings, endings and analysis than I do.Tanner-kun wrote: C-square, I was wondering how you normally analyze your chest games?
Okay, I was asking because I have been to lazy to go find a good program or w/e. xDc-square wrote:I'm not sure what you mean. The last move may have been done rashly, but I was hurrying to my next class and couldn't bear the sight of this game to go on for more than two days.c-square wrote: Still, it's not unreasonable for black to surrender the game at this point, which is what I'm guessing you did, AbEgho.
