a man goes around a corner and sees a man wearing a mask, he realises he can't get home... why?
All I've figured out is that the man is a threat, but no one gets hurt.

Re: Riddle I'm stuck with for some reason
Just a few ideas, not sure what the answer is....
The best guess i can come up with for now:
The man is at a bank and is just about to leave (goes round a corner). He sees a man wearing a mask and holding a pistol coming in, therefore realises the bank is being robbed and he is a hostage so he can't go home.
I guess that either means he's going to die, he is stuck somewhere (prison?), he is held captive or his home is not there anymoreH...Haibara wrote: he realises he can't get home...
Okay... what kind of people wear mask? Doctors in a hospital, people who are dressed up, bank robbers, prisoners before they are executed (?)...H...Haibara wrote: ...and sees a man wearing a mask

Just another Answer. If the time is the Dark Ages, then how about this. The man is coming home from the market. He sees the mask man and Realizes that The Black Death has come to his village. He has heard the stories from other villages about The Black Death. He knows that to survive, he must leave. He can not go home because he knows he never be able to leave. Since he can not go home, he leaves his village.

The problem with that simple of an answer is this. In Baseball to be out the player trying to tag the other must have the ball.H...Haibara wrote: You're all completely wrong. xD

If the base is in one of the corner of the outfield, the person seeing the guy in the mask, the catcher, could almost walk home. so even when turning the corner to go home, if the ball is still in the outfield the runner should make it home easily. But if the ball in either in the catcher mitt or in the infield, then indeed the runner will be out at home. This riddle does need more iinformation
