uehara is certainly overrated, but i wouldn't really call her a main character. conan and ran are inifinitely more interesting and important than her.

This round is basically Conan vs Ran, since the other characters are either non-existent, uninteresting or have a (very) limited purpose. That doesn't mean I don't like them, but they just can't compete with the main characters.
