Akai sniping Gin never gets old.

Clash of Red and Black.

This was a pretty tough vote for me. I'm not the biggest BO fan, but these are two great episodes, with nice twists and turns and solidly done action. To sum up my thoughts, I made a bullet point list of sorts.

425 Pros
-Good pacing. Moved quickly and though it wound back forth quite a bit, I never felt "this needs to hurry up and end" while watching.
-Doesn't take place at night. I know this seems sort of minor, but its nice to have a BO episode have a primary setting that can be described as something other than "nighttime, in a vaguely claustrophobic location".
-Epicness. Akai shooting the wiretap out of Gin's hand is a signature DC moment.
-Good new character (Mizunashi Rena)

425 Cons
-Chianti and Korn are lame characters. Somehow, the two of them combined  even less personality than Vodka.
-The BO segway was sort of lame. Given her past, one would think Mizunashi Rena would be careful to check for wiretaps (add to that the fact that she was being watched). This is trifle though- I sort of just wanted to say this somewhere.

491-504 Pros
-Shocking moment. A recurring character dying (make that dying*) is nice, just on principle.
-The case before the main BO segment was very good. Killer was obvious, but MO was awesomely sadistic.
-Chess match between Conan/Akai and Gin was quite enjoyable.

491-504 Cons
-Dragged. Much like 345, this just loses some of its mojo as it goes on and on.
-Shiranpuri. Really? Really? Really?  That was just stupendously dumb (as was the entire Camel case actually).
-Had a lot of parts that weren't very exciting; e.g. a lot of the hospital scenes.

Ultimately, my vote goes to 425.

Clash arc. But 425 was good too.

425. Clash to me dragged on and on.

mostly because we see a lot of Akai in these episodes^^
but 425 is also good...

Clash Of Red And Black had more action and more Akai!

It's a tough one, but I vote for 425

I was expecting Clash to crush 425, but my vote untied it!

...and it's tied again.

And now 425 is up. This looks like it will go down to the wire!

Black Impact is in the lead?  How did this happen?!
