Monk- Probably the best American detective show in my lifetime. Monk meeting Conan would be epic, who would solve the crime first?

Psych- It's pretty great, and with both Shawn and Conan pretending to be something they aren't (One a psychic, the other just a normal kid), this would lead to some nice back and forth.

House- House and Conan solving a medical murder mystery.

no worries, I had to google too

He is Peter Falk,who played the role of Columbo. I think almost (if not) all of his cases were like the case in epi 192-193. First we saw the murder and the murderer, after that comes Columbo and brilliantly solves the case. He is my favourite non-anime detective.

You should watch the movies. They are old, but brilliant. Even Gosho made Shinichi to say Columbo´s famous line in epi 192: "Just one more thing!"
