Round 2 (Quarterfinal) Summary

1.1: Strategy Above the Depths (9) continued its surprising run by defeating The Time Bombed Skyscraper (13). 58%-42%
1.2: The 14th Target (2) won a hard fought, but never especially close victory over Crossroad in the Ancient Capital (7). 54.8%%-45.2%
1.3: The Phantom of Baker Street (6) stunned The Last Wizard of the Century (3) with a sudden surge on the final days of voting; the decisive vote came with less than half an hour to go. 50%-50% (the rules of the contest stipulate that the movie with the higher box office gross advances when there is a tie)
1.4: Countdown to Heaven (5) beat Captured in Her Eyes (4); the margin was small, but it remained stable throughout the voting. 54.9%-45.1%

14th Target for me here, pretty easily too. Maybe I'm just grumpy because "Phantom" took out what I thought was the presumptive favorite, but "Target" had both a better mystery and more fun, even if it got pretty silly at points.

Don't feel particularly strongly about either.  3 vs. 7 would have been interesting, but... hmm.  Phantom I guess.  The scenario was a little more interesting.

I agree. (7 and 3 are my favorite DC movies)

I choose Phantom also, I like the ending, even though it wasn't to realistic.

Gosh I enjoy both, so this is really hard for me.  I think I'm going to go w/ Phantom though because I heart Sherlock Holmes, even if it didn't really show him per-say.....  /shrug

Oh well. I guess I'll have to 'count on' Countdown to Heaven to finish off 6.
