Awesome discussions we've been having!  The scenario for this round has both Ran and Kazuha as your classmates.  Unfortunately, you have been sick/dead/out of the country/otherwise unable to attend class for the entire term - and comprehensive finals are next week!    In addition, you need to not only pass the finals, you need score in the top 5% of the class (your classmates are all overachievers) in order to secure entry to the only university whose graduates are accepted for your dream job.  (In other words, your future and future happiness depends on this decision.)  Your only choices are Ran and Kazuha.  Your cannot study on your own, as you don't have access to the material without them.  Even if you feel confident enough in your genius intellect, you need to choose to borrow the notes (handwritten; that is to say, no handouts) from only one of them.  Who will you choose to study with!?

As before, premise for each question requires you to mentally rip each character out of the manga/anime and place them beside you in real life.  So there is no Shinichi/Heiji/Conan, etc. to get in the way or affect the characters in any way.

Kazuha: because ran's an idiot 

Definitely Ran. She made copies for Shinichi without asking him (Desperate revival) so she must be sure of herself and in her notes,, otherwise she wouldn't lend it to Mr. Smart-kun. And she does have a good memory, especially in Chinese literature(Red Wall). I'd go with her!
She could help me during music test too. XD;;

Ran, she has a lor of knowledge and many other things acording to studies.

Hmmm.. I don't really know whether Kazuha is good in studies. I'll go with Ran, anyway. Will help me in music. xD

Hmmm, no question about Ran being sharp enough for a normal person, and I would likely think that her notes are well-written and neat.
I also think she would be kind enough to let me borrow her notes.

As for Kazuha, I haven't seen her in school, so, it's Ran this time.

I'm interested to know why you think she's good at music, nothing has caught my eyes about her which is showing that she's good at music more than a very basic level.

She can play the piano, as shown in M12. That's not canon, though, but it was shown somewhere in the manga too that she is good at music. Can't remember where, though..
And I don't know a THING about music so she could help if even if she was at a basic level.

I think this is out of the question, but, I'd say Kazuha is sexier so I'll pick Ran.

She helped Conan out in there cases I recall, in the Moonliht Sonata she helped him with the notes,  the one with the magician in volume 214 (ep. 96) when said the Da Capo thing and in Volume 26, during the music box case she helped Conan to realize something about the music notes too.

I cannot tell what is basic level in music, but I do know that I don't know that much as Ran. ^^'

Ran's smart, she evidently takes good notes and always seems to do well in class... we've never seen Kazuha in school, so I'd pick Ran.

Plus Kazuha would be distracting because i'd be trying to get her shorts off of her
