This week, on the Great DC Opening Contest, we have a bout between the naming extremes.

When it comes to an op's title, does bigger mean better?  You have one week to decide.  

EDIT:  Apparently size does matter after all (at least when it comes to OPs).    I'm secretly hoping Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made gets paired up with Nazo in the next round!

This is definitely the hardest decision I've had to make so far in this contest.  They're both great openings both with strong musical pieces and good animation.  In the end, I had to go with Kimi to Yakusoku, though.  It's hard to beat Heiji and Kazuha on a motorbike. 

Music and animation of both are good, but Longer Title wins.

Start is fine but during my 2nd time going through the series, eventually I was like "THIS SONG AGAIN?!" The unusual amount of detail when they show lots of characters below where Conan is at the end is awesome though.

Kimi to Takusoku Shita Yasashii Ano is a brilliant song and...hell I want to listen to the full version now.

Kimi to (looks for the title again, Ctrl+C; Ctrl+V ) Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made is so good.

I love its music and the clip is quite okay too. Stat's Start's clip is good, but I don't like its music that much.

This is difficult.

I think I'll vote for Kimi to Yakusaku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made for now.

But that might change depending on my mood.

Nice to meet you, Typoqueen.  Hilarious that you messed up the title of the shorter one, while taking great pains to get the longer one right.

Oh man! Why did the pairing end up that way! Start is my 2nd favorite DC opening (only next to Nazo) and Basho made is my 3rd favorite opening... Based on my ranking, I obviously voted for Start...

It's hard to pick one. I'm sad only one gets to go on.

Love the animation and the song. Pulling all the main characters in in playful ways. Just beats Start(Which seems to have tried to copy Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made on some parts)

Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made, most definitely.  The song is nice, and the intro, imo, is fun!  Then again, I like Start and its sequence too.

Meh, I'm still going to go with Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made since that intro is more fun to me...especially with Conan's parents and Ai in the disguises and it is nice to see his parents in an intro every once in a while.

Both deserve to be voted, can't choose 

I noticed at the end Long-Title song that Jodie is in the "final picture where almost characters appear at the same time". I think it is the only time she appears there
