Re: DC Movie Contest: "Captured in Her Eyes" vs. "Countdown
I just like to think that the first six or so kept building up in, i suppose, "awesome-ness" and it plateaued around 5 or 6, well for me anyways. I still liked the movies after, but they didn't feel the same as the first six.

Seems to be an opinion a number of people share here. That's interesting, I never saw it that way myself.randompi314159 wrote: I just like to think that the first six or so kept building up in, i suppose, "awesome-ness" and it plateaued around 5 or 6, well for me anyways. Sorry I think I have mixed between you and other Aicon fans who said that they chose movie 4, in the first round against 13, for the AiCon scene.Girl19 wrote:And who said my vote has anything to do with AiCon or ShinRan?kholoudsafir wrote:I think movie 4 is good for Aicon fans as well as ShinRan, so why it is not winning ??? , even if we put the romance one side, I still see movie 4 as a much better movieGirl19 wrote: Countdown To Heaven, because it's my favorite DC movie! <3
Also, the amnesia part of the other movie was so cliché, it felt like watching a soap opera.
I'm confused.. Are you a ShinRan fan?
Yes I am.
Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

And no, I voted for Movie 13 and I was surprised it didn't get through, actually.
Me neither.Yamamura wrote:Seems to be an opinion a number of people share here. Not enough time to write a verbose review, sadly, so I'm going with "Countdown." Captured in Her Eyes has just about my favorite music of th DC series and is a bit more realistic (if you can call the amnesia plot realistic), but "Countdown" is so damn fun to watch that I can't vote against it.

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

I don't remember much about movie 4
however, I do remember the amazing over-the-topness of the ending of movie 5. So it gets my vote.

Countdown to Heaven, without a doubt.

Superman = Captain America > Aquaman = Hal Jordan > Wonder Woman > Barry Allen > Thor > Martian Manhunter > The Hulk > Wasp > Hawkeye > [power gap] > Iron Man = Batman > [power gap] > Hank Pym

Tough call man. I loved Captured in Her eyes, but after seeing it at least 15-20 times on DCTV, I'll still probably stab myself in the eye if I see it anytime soon.

Conan likes dressing up.
"Stop. Stop it, Ray. Even if you are facing the bitter aspect of life... Drugs and murder are foul without any excuse. Deserve a red card, for a loser."

"True, I was a cheater. A bad player, and I lost the game. I must be ejected... For both my late wife... And for a fan like you."

Sweet, sticked. Hopefully the threads of my next contest, "Relative quality of the bosoms of female DC characters will be sticked as well".

Kazuha, Yukiko, Vermouth, Ran, Jodie, Shiho, Sonoko. Or something like that order.

Re: DC Movie Contest: "Captured in Her Eyes" vs. "Countdown
I voted for Captured in Her Eyes, as it left a much greater impact on me after watching it. Countdown is pure fun though, and these two are honestly in my opinion the two best DC movies period.
