Re: Shinichi+Ran or Conan+Ai?
It's the same so far, Of course that in the Manga the BO plot Development was bigger, I mean, there's some things that never happened in the Anime YET.
Besides that the only diference I can remember was in the firsts episodes, the one about the bomb in the train, that]s all.

No. He is in the special volumes created by people who are NOT Gosho, therefore it's not canon (and personally, these cases are worse than an AO).Detective Tommy wrote: Does that mean Generic is not in the manga either?
Because the one who wrote it in the wiki, also read that volume probably, and for some reason, he thought that posting a non-canon B.O. member (without even saying it's not canon) is smart. Just because it's in a wiki doesn't mean it's true. Those wikis are created by mere fans, and anyone can edit its content.Detective Tommy wrote: How does wiki know about this person?

I knew that wiki could be edited, but I didn't think anyone would go post false info.
Or unintelligent/non supported facts.

No.. really.. do they exist? o.oAbs. wrote:They are on a shelf in your local Japanese bookstore. :-* Provided you actually have a local Japanese bookstore, they still may not carry it so good luck. That's what I meant. But since this is fiction, it doesn't have to be realistic, hence the canonical ShinRan.Detective Tommy wrote: Oh, I see what you mean by Ai+Conan being more realistic in real life.
It's kind of awkward dating your childhood best friend, because you talk about everything together.
So I understand how Ai+Conan would make more sense. :'(
Did you say that because you didn't like my opinion, again?Nyarl wrote:Here we are with the echo chamber declarations again.Girl19 wrote: Also, in real life, people wouldn't generally marry someone incompatible with them unless they want to divorce after a few weeks.
And how did you assume I was talking about Shinichi and Ran anyway? For all I know, I didn't mention their names in the last sentence. If you think I was talking about them, there must be a good reason for that.
And I was going to reply to the rest of your post, but I stopped reading after this:

You mean when listing reasons X is more "realistic" than Y you suddenly start talking about not-Y?Girl19 wrote:Did you say that because you didn't like my opinion, again?Nyarl wrote:Here we are with the echo chamber declarations again.Girl19 wrote: Also, in real life, people wouldn't generally marry someone incompatible with them unless they want to divorce after a few weeks.

And here I thought CoAi and ShinRan had about an equal number of shippers... The skew is almost 3 to 1. I guess I will have to revise my estimates.

I was surprised as well, but I guess it's just the "big thread effect"Chekhov MacGuffin wrote: And here I thought CoAi and ShinRan had about an equal number of shippers... The skew is almost 3 to 1. I guess I will have to revise my estimates.
The 250 pages thread makes our mind think that there are many AiCons.

My poll ( The strangle one ) suggest it is more like 3 Hairaba-Conan to 5 Ran-Shinichi
