Late introduction, but whatever.

(Better late than never, right? Even if this is already my... um, ninth or tenth post. Or something like that. What can I say? I missed this board the first time through.)

I'm usually found under "justjoy", including (especially) FanFiction.Net and a couple other forums. Generally, I spend more time than is probably considered healthy (a) surfing FF.Net looking for new reads, (b) watching anime online and/or (c) talking to myself/random characters in my head. (And don't forget writing fics... even during class, yay!) All while trying to make sure no one else notices.

On to the usual stuff:

*plagiarises the convenient format from whoever created it*

Name: Joy
Age: 16
Location: Singapore
Conan Fan Since: 2010

Favorite Conan Movie: Movie 8 [Magician of the Silver Sky]
Favorite Conan Case: No specific one, but I like the case from Movie 12 [Full Score of Fear]
Favorite Conan Opening Theme: Revive by Kuraki Mai [OP25]
Favorite Conan Ending Theme: Pilgrim by B'z [ED39]
Favorite Conan Movie Theme: Anata ga Irukara by Miho Komatsu [Movie 4]

Other Favorite Anime, because I haven't watched anything else: Bleach, Shakugan no Shana, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, a bit of Death Note

Favorite Movies, minus DC: SALT, Inception, Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion

Favorite Songs/Singers, though my preferences vary widely and change easily:
Britney Spears - 3, Lucky
Enya - Only Time, Trains and Winter Rains
Evanescence - Hello, Everybody's Fool
Sting - Desert Rose
ERA - Ameno, Divano
Secret Garden - Song from a Secret Garden
--as well as about 20% of DC OP and EP songs.

Songs I'm currently obsessed with: Well, given that my iPod (shuffle, yay!) is currently loaded with aforementioned OP and EP songs...

Favorite TV Series: Um... TV? What's that? I stopped watching it after discovering the wonderful world of the Internet, fanfiction, and anime.

Favorite Books/Stories: A Scandal in Bohemia (A. Conan Doyle), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time (Mark Haddon), The Extraordinary Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Gentleman-Burglar (Maurice Leblanc), A Short History of Nearly Everything (Bill Bryson), Superfreakonomics (Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner), Murderous Maths series (Kjartan Poskitt) and way too many others to list.

I spend too much time reading, really. *sigh*

Oh, and playing with GIMP - hence the avatar and banner in my sig.

GNU Image Manipulation Program, it's somewhere between MSpaint and photoshop in terms of usefulness. Its main selling point is that it's free. Though if it's free it's not much of a sale :v

it's really bad about hiding windows behind other windows though. :V

@Ako: it's worth it to not have to pay for photoshop V: Even though it doesn't have all of the same features. :P

But yeah, the windows thing is annoying.

imo, Paintshop Pro's better than GIMP (and you can get older versions of that for free), but I can understand not wanting to learn a new program.

May have to look into Paintshop Pro later. We'll see.
