By the way, I’m not French even though I'm currently studying French. I just can’t think of a good title for this thread.
I always lurk here before and then I decided to register. But even though I'm already registered, I'm still lurking. Actually, I’m afraid to post in a foreign forum website like this. Just now, I read a personal message from someone in whom I should read a long time ago but I’m lazy checking my message inbox. That message is the reason why I'm posting this introductory post.
Since I’m new, I’m going to stop lurking for a while and post my very first forum post. I don't even know where to start because I hate introductions... Or should I say I’m afraid to introduce myself. Okay here it is…
I’m not really into watching or reading anything related to mystery before; I’m just a young student who loves watching different anime series on television.
I first watched Detective Conan nine years ago. I loved the first episode because it was different from other anime series that I had watched. I was amazed so much at Shinichi Kudo for being a high school detective at first and then when he became Conan Edogawa, I wanted to see how he could help the police even though he is only a kid while finding his way on how he will return to his teenage body. Before, I watched the series just to see when Conan will return as Shinichi, because I really wanted to see Shinichi solving cases by himself rather than seeing him as a kid. But now, I appreciate and enjoy watching each episode because of the different cases. I didn’t think anymore about Conan returning as Shinichi anytime soon.
Ever since I watch the first episode, I began to watch the series everyday after I go home from my classes at school. Detective Conan became my inspiration to write stories and draw comic strips which helped me a lot especially in my school projects before, although now I rarely draw or write stories because I’m busy with more important things in my life.
Aside from the anime series, I watched all the animated and also the live-action movies. I also read the manga, but I stopped for a while. I’m planning to read it again from the start if I have free time.
About my favorites, my favorite guy characters on Detective Conan are Shinichi Kudo, Kaitou Kid/Kaitou Kid 1412/Kaito Kuroba, Saguru Hakuba and Heiji Hattori. For the girls, my only favorite girl character is Ai Haibara/Shiho Miyano.
That’s my introduction for now. Maybe I’m going to add more information soon if I wanted to.
