I'm no good with these things.  I either ramble on forever and say nothing or I say too little. ^^;

Anywho...I'm 21.  I'm a student going to art school for traditional animation.  Nothing against CG...I'll just always have a fondness for hand-drawn stuff.  Not to mention that I'm a little computer illiterate.  Photoshop is basically all I'm good with.  Mostly I'm just an art hobbyist though, but every now and then I'll do some freelance/commission work when I have free time.  I like making stuff.  Mostly I draw animals and fantasy critters.  I'm trying to get better at drawing people though.  Backgrounds and people have always been my weakness . ^^;

I really haven't been watching Detective Conan for that long.  It was really on of those series that I just kept telling myself I would watch because my best friend was/is into the series.  Then I never watched it. x3  Though I do remember watching it once when it was on Adult Swim, but I totally have no idea what episode it was I watched.  I'm pretty sure I probably fell asleep 'cause it was in the middle of the night and I was tired.  So I randomly just started watching it this summer 'cause I didn't...really have anything to do after summer school was over.  You'd think I wouldn't be completely caught up but when I really get into a show I sorta just watch it continuously and lose track of time.  I read the manga as well but I'm more interested in the series.  I just prefer to see things animated.

Favorite Conan Movie: Probably Full Score of Fear (mainly because I'm a sucker for pretty music)

Favorite Opening Theme: Giri Giri Chop, Shoudou or Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de...one of those three.  I can't decide.
Favorite Opening Sequence: Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense (Purely for the lulz x3...not a bad dance but so poorly timed out. XD)
Favorite Ending Theme: Hello Mr. My Yesterday
Favorite Ending Sequence: Same as above
Favorite Character: Conan and Heiji
Least Favorite Character: Yamamura

Favorite Movies: The Lion King, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Princess Mononoke, Paprika, Spirited Away, The Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast

Favorite TV Series: Psych (I need to keep up with this better...), Iron Chef America, Chopped, Scooby Doo (the original series), Paranormal State, Ghost Hunters, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, Monk, Spongebob Squarepants, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Snapped, The Nanny, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, etc.

Other Randomness About Me:
~I've started to become overly critical about animation.  Tis the result of learning about animation day in and out for 4 years. ^^;  As much as I love anime, most of it is so stiffly animated.  It's hard for me now to just sit back and enjoy something for what it is.  I'm always thinking about what something is lacking.
~I'm a quiet person both offline and online.  Even though I wanna comment on topics I usually don't.  No reason for it.  I'm just quiet.
~I'm sorta like an illustrator who's pretending to be an animator. x3  I like meticulously working with detail and making (or attempting to make) things look pretty. ^^;
~I'm a crappy violin player even though I've been playing it since I've been in 1st grade. 
~I love singing though I'm not sure if I'm good at it. ^^;

So um...I'm sure I rambled on.  I'mma go draw stuff now.

It's a common mistake for new people, but you should try to avoid doing it in the future.

Don't worry, you'll meet lots of friends in the course of your stay here, like bears, onions, mad scientists, and ninja assassins. A lot of skirmishes happen between members, and you might get involved, but please do not try to even utter a single insult against Ai, if you don't want to be squashed, chopped, burned, tortured, pitch-forked or poked by the AiCons. Of course, the same applies to Kaitou KID. Though I reckon it's covered already by the mods.

I think I'm about four episodes behind on Psych myself, and I think I'm only one behind of Fact or Faked.

Night classes get in the way of a lot of things.  Which is why I refuse to take them, haha.
