I am a relative newcomer to Detective Conan. I had not heard of it before I picked up the DC manga while taking a break from the usual magical teenage boys beating the spit out of monsters and other magical teenage boys. It took me bloody forever to catch up since I insisted on solving every case and the BO arcs as well.
Early on, I almost stopped being interested in Detective Conan when I watched movie 6 after hearing Detective Conan was also an anime. Luckily I had just made it as far as the Vermouth arc in the manga so I managed to get re-interested. I still loathe movie 6 to this day.

I lurked around DCTP forum for a long while before joining. My username is a combination of the literary concepts "Chekhov's Gun" and "MacGuffin". I wanted to be Chekhov's MacGuffin, but the site wouldn't allow apostrophes and I thought MacGuffin of Chekhov sounded stupid.

The person on the forum I am closest to is Abs., although xpon is giving Abs. a run for his money as of late.

I die a little inside every time someone says Okiya is Bourbon. Ditto with scar Akai being the real Akai. My favorite character is Kogoro. My least favorite is Kichiemon.

For those who spend most of their time on the General or Offtopic boards or don't know me well, I post most often in Story Discussion. I like to theorize about the solution to the monthly cases and the Org. I often post large walls of text. (Did you know there is a 50,000 character limit per post?) If you are interested, there is a list of various theories in the spoiler box.
