Hello fellow DC fanatics, i must thank Chekhov for reminding me to intro myself here
Rather than a usual introduction (age, sex, interest, etc), i've decided to share with you how i was introduced to DC.
I must admit i was pretty crazy over DC a few years back, when my younger sister started bringing home rented chinese DC manga. At first, i made fun of her, being so crazy over a manga, where there are more important things to fuss over, such as cleaning her room, lol. However, she continued to rent 2 or 3 of those volumes every week, and soon, my curiosity compelled me to grab one and find out what made it so captivating to my little sis, as well as my mother (goodness).
Sure enough, i got hooked by its mysteries and main plot. I started 'stealing' the books from her as soon as i laid eyes on them. During the initial stages, i would read every single page, and absorb every single mystery. However, i gradually lost patience with Gosho taking his own sweet time in unravelling the main plot, and lost my interest in 'random' cases. I'd just focus on the main plot and skip the 'unimportant' and time consuming ones. *laughs*
Hm. I guess this is more of a rant of a piece of my DC life instead of a real self intro, eh? Heheh. Well, i would say i'm a college student with an uncertain future. Thanks to DC, i've found interest in translating, and wouldn't mind to lend a helping hand to DCTP.
(Shout out to Jd-: I hope you've seen my reply... it's been ages!)
Is this a good enough intro? Or should i reveal more? I honestly doubt anyone would be interested though. I'm just here to share my thoughts on DC and the plot's developments. Oh yes, i also like to thank this site for renewing my interest in 'random' mysteries, despite my heavy workload...
Nice to meet smart, funny and kind people here, who share the same interests!
Cheers and much love,
DCreader
