The Wandering Tsundere

Hi there! I'm KisakiEri (I've been using this name since I've been chatting in DCTP chatboxes and the old DCTV). Despite my favorite character whom I based my name on, I'm not a lawyer IRL but a Nursing student -I don't think I'd be a lawyer EVER. I've been a fan of Detective Conan since it first aired in the Philippines (oh I think it was around 2000-ish). Now that I'm in the US, I realized I needed to catch up on the anime episodes -and i can actually read the manga without limits on the internet 
I know about DCTP for quite a while and I've always been a silent fan. I was active due to the release of DCTV. It made chatting with DC fans easier and without the hassle of registering for anything. I promised two DCTVers I nicknamed wolf-san, Kuriyama-san and Goro-chan I would join but it just slips my mind (for that I apologize guys D: ). I have no idea what their forum names are D: Another promise was made when I was chatting with Abs-san who I absolutely adore (and didn't immediately realize Abs-san was recruited a staff XD) so I made sure I joined as soon as I could.
Putting those info aside, I'm an anime fan since I could ever remember -not because it was "in" at all. I'm also a gamer (girl gamers unite!). I play from online games down to console games. (for the record, I play the online games named Mabinogi and Left4Dead/Left4Dead2 on PC-just in case you play it too
) Oh, and I'm also a cosplayer, kind of?
My favorite DC movie is the 14th Target, but I also love Captured in Her Eyes, Countdown to Heaven, Phantom of Baker Street, Magician of the Silver Sky, Strategy Above the Depths, The Private Eyes' Requiem, Full Score of Fear, and Raven Chaser.
I love almost all DC themes, but especially Mai Kuraki and U-ka saegusa IN db. Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made has a special place in my heart, as well as Always.
The DC case that REALLY made me think DC is going to be one of the anime I'd follow till the end was the (besides the first 2 episodes of course) The Art Museum Murder Case. Something about it being so... different and definitely not like any other anime I've seen. Another was the Moonlight Sonata case.
I'm a huge shipper, so I can't really avoid shipping anyone in DC. I'm mainly a Kogoro/Eri fan all the way. I guess I'll say, I'm a Shinichi/Ran fan (but I am not a flamer/basher ._. i HATE flame (ship) wars), as well as the other "canon?" pairings like Heiji/Kazuha, Megure/Midori, Takagi/Sato, Shiratori/Kobayashi, Kansuke/Euhara, (as for Akai, idk who I pair him with...), Makoto/Sonoko, Yusaku/Yukiko, Kaito/Aoko. A couple of non"canon" ships I like are Mitsuhiko/Ayumi (but really they're just kids so ... XD), and Gin/Vermouth (that scene about making martini got me rawring XD). And another record, I don't hate nor shun Shinichi/Shiho -because, I totally see their point of view.
I can't possibly list my favorite anime/mangas, but I'll name a few -both shounen and shojo: Bleach, Naruto, FMA, Wallflower, Gokusen, Azumanga Daioh, Kare Kano, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, Kaichou wa Maidsama, Special A, Fushigi Yuugi, Love Hina, Lucky Star... and the list goes on.
As for TV shows, not much really, but I love procedural dramas like CSI (I stopped watching at s6), CSI:NY (need to catch up), House MD, Psych and NCIS (I sort of stopped watching when Kate...), Avatar: the last airbender was good. I'm also starting to like that new series Rizzoli and Isles.
I'm also a voracious reader. I go from The books based on CSI/detective stories, Nancy Drew (and the games!), Agatha Christie (and also the games! XD), James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series, and the romance novels of Nora Roberts? XD ROFL And of course, my medical books.
