Actually, strangely enough, the English and German languages are linked. If you read it carefully, and you get a word in your mind that reminds you of the german word, it's probably what the word means in German.

For ex. I think that the word 'wiederzutreffen' means 'welcome'.

Actually, strangely enough, the English and German languages are linked. If you read it carefully, and you get a word in your mind that reminds you of the german word, it's probably what the word means in German.

While you're right and German/Dutch arethe languages that are closest to English (if you don't count Scots that is), there is not a single word in my post you should be able to guess at;) (well, maybe kennen, which is related to ken)
wiedererkennen=recognize
welcome=Willkommen
