So is there anything so far that's kinda light-hearted and really fun? I think I'll need it once I'm done with SSY. I'll even take a K-on like show if it's genuinely funny enough.

Cool a Kindaichi oav

also, Ironman?!

Think about it. When was the last time anything, ever with "colon-rise-of-the-something" in the title was any good? G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior...one swing and a miss after another. Rise of Technovore, a feature-length anime production by Madhouse, marches right along in that same proud tradition.

That is how i felt about the story. The fights, though, are GOOD!!

Came in here to see if there was anything that jumped out at me and ended up realizing every one of the animes I like has an English or at least mostly English title:

-MAJOR
-Death Note
-Lupin III (Lupin Sansei)
-Detective Conan (Meitantei Conan)

Revelations 11:37.

English and engrish are a wonderful part of anime.

Speaking of which, Date A Live sounds either incredibly clever or just stupid. Or both.

Suisei no Gargantia or Shingeki no Kyojin are worth checking out, at least their first episodes. You won't regret it.

My list:
Doki Doki! Pretty Cure! (which is surprisingly amazing)
Red Data Girl
Karneval (a friend of mine told me to watch this, and it's AMAZING. The animation is also really beautiful.)
Devil Survivor 2
and Valvrave (might drop it. My favorite character died in the first episode pfft)

Will probably take a look at Railgun and Arata. Other than for those, I'm not really interested in anything else.

I've pretty much watched 90% of the new series this Spring. There are many good series this season. Mushibugyou is the worst one so far.

alicetama wrote:Karneval (a friend of mine told me to watch this, and it's AMAZING. The animation is also really beautiful.)

When I saw this, I noticed that it was a shoujo series. But I decided to watch it anyway. After the first episode I was questioning myself what shoujo-genre series are really like. This kinda has the shounen feel to it. I had no idea that there was like this in that type of genre. It is a good series though.

Go and watch Shingeki no Kyojin and Hataraku! Maou-sama. You won't regret anything.
