Rank #1: Detective Conan (obviously)
What can I say? I have the whole collection of all Detective Conan's movies, from 1st to the 12th. I also have every volume of the raw manga... Need not to say, I'm pretty much obsess to DC. There are a few of most favourite parts: one is the scheme played by Conan and Heiji on the ghost ship. (I went aftershock after having reading that particular story/series.) Next would be the part where Conan teamed up with the FBI VS the Black Organisation. ('Man, Gosho is so... so more than brilliant!!' was my thought) Not to mention about the competition Conan with this Okiya Subaru on the paper air plane series. And the most recent revival of Shinichi. Hmm... maybe I should watch those episodes again

----------

Rank #2: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
At first I thought it pretty interesting, but then I stopped for a really long time. To be honest, I lost track till where I read. I didn't start continue reading until recently. Though not volume by volume, but start right ahead on Chapter 195 onwards. Thanks to wikipedia search, I began to read the part about Fai's past to the most recent chapters. Even though I missed more than half of the story, but it gave me another aftershock after reading those parts. Jaw dropping + an unbelievable 'What?!' were my responses. Now then I came and think of it, they're pretty made sense...

----------

Rank #3: Nodame Cantabile
A pair of couple, can't say they're a perfect match, but can't say they're an imperfect match either. Shinichi's maestro, Milch Holstein (Milch means milk in German and Holstein is a cow in German ''-_-'')... I mean a famous conductor Stresemann turned his life a 180° upside down, Nodame drove him mad-crazy (and still does) and Roux Marlet (an orchestra he's gonna performs with) gave him a headache... What a wonderful life, don't you agree? XD

----------

Rank #4: Hanazakari kimitachi he (For You in Full Blossom)
I had watched the Taiwan drama, the Jap drama... but the manga's still the best!!! A girl who went to all boys' school because she wanna met her idol, an high jumper. The chaos began with a soccer player who thought he was a gay because he liked this new transferred student (who actually was a 'she'), then a student who could see and talking with 'things', a head dormitory whose rumour was he could pregnant a girl by speaking with him, and a school doctor who was a relationship with another guy...

----------

I have 3 more for my 5th rank, but the three of them weren't as well known as the previous 4, so I didn't list them out here. The titles were 'Godhand Teru' (a great story about a doctor who had a record for having undead patients under his care.), 'Renai Catalogue' (aka 'Love Catalogue', which is concentrated on a modern life couple and how they find a path to their life.) and 'Sensei' (I couldn't find any related search for 'Teacher' in English. The author for the manga was Kawahara Kazune, who was also the creator of 'High School Debut' or some title like that. The story is about a forbidden relationship between a student and her teacher. I would cry for joy if I had the remaining 6 volumes. Sadly, no such luck since the search from years ago. T_T)

Milch Holstein (Milch means milk in German and Holstein is a cow in German ''-_-'')
Your right about the Milch, but Holstein doesn't have anything to do with a cow. It's a region...

:o

Well I would recommend something like Bleach and Hayate the Combat Butler. ^^ Beauty Pop for the shoujo lovers. They're quite different from DC, but they're still very interesting. *nod*

as have I

Bleach has boring fights but awesome characters

Bobobo and Black Cat are awesome too.

One Piece is awesome after volume 8 (ignoring the overrated Drum Island arc though).

I really need to read more Tsubasa and 20th Century Boys.

I've just finished Beauty Pop and I had to cry sooooooooooooooooooo much...

Does anybody here know Fairy Tail? It's a lot like One Piece, from the Author of "Rave" and really funny. I could post a list of all the Manga I'm reading atm and the ones I read which are completed... well, it would be really long.

I recommend you reading all the chapters of Tsubasa because the connections are just amazing. That minor detail you didn't think was important is suddenly links the very early chapters to most recent chapters. I would also recommend reading xxxHolic, as there are connections(not so much initially, but very big now..) between the two.

I also recommend D.Gray-man, which sadly, at the moment, is on its second hiatus due to the mangaka's health (I hope she recovers soon.... and faster than last time....).

Angel Heart is good too. There are sad parts but that also what makes it good.

well, in my opinion, don't read Tsubasa and holic if you never read anything from CLAMP before. It'll be just half of the fun you could have with it.

I've only watched the first episodes in Japan, and they where exactly like the manga, covering one chapter per episode. Don't know how it developed.

Yes... VERY different... *shudder* (though the OSTs were good)

but DO watch the OVA's (there's 3 so far, covering Tokyo arc, more coming~!), those are fabulous! :D

I'd recommend School Rumble. Hilarious, funny, touching... Harima Kenji is da man! It is pretty good and the chapters are no even long, still they have everything in them. ^^

Who like cats...no, who love cats must read Chii's Sweet Home. <3 It is too cute for cat-fans.

And One Piece is a great choice. It is not clished much, weird characters, weird stories in a weird world, but the message is clear: Dream, go on an adventure, meet friends and have fun! Even after many chapters it doesn't become boring at all, one wants more and more of it.

Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne

Nice shoujo story, nice drawings... nice, nice, nice. It is a must for shoujo-fans.

Death Note-It is just great until the middle, after that is not that good, but still worth to read. War between detectives and a massmurderer?/genius?/god?.
