I've already posted this on DCW and I figured it may be funny here, too.

I was listening to "Elmo's Got a Gun" (as seen on What's on your mind?) and this came to my mind.

What anime/manga character would you never hand a ranged weapon and why?

Ayumi.  She'd probably end up shooting herself, and while I'm not a big fan of hers, I don't want her to die.

I'd never give a gun to Yami Bakura. Being a 5000-year-old spirit I'm not sure how up he is on modern weaponry and I don't want to find out.

Genta. I think he would end up eating the weapon, thinking it's made from chocolate or something like that.
Also, Haibara. Look at my signature and imagine she's using a gun as a weapon instead of her death glare. Poor Conan...

I would never give Gluttony a gun because he would actually eat it.

I would never give Team Rocket guns because, being the rulers of Derp, they'd endeavor to shoot themselves and they're too entertaining for that. Also, it would get the episode canceled. Again.

I would never ever ever ever ever hand Seto Kaiba a gun.  Do you even have to ask why?

Having seen the scenes in the manga where he lands himself a gun, I understand you perfectly.

I would never hand Jaden Yuki a gun after about season 3. Before that he's enough of a derp to accidentally kill himself with it, or even better, accidentally take out Syrus and Chumley first; after that, he's either a murderous psychopath or partially possessed by one.

I wouldn't hand Tamaki a gun. He'd probably think it was a toy and try to surprise Haruhi with it.

I would also never, ever, ever, EVER hand either of the Hitachiins a gun. Ever. EVER.

Speaking of Watase works... I wouldn't give Flippy a real gun either. He's scary enough with a water pistol.
