I am quite surprised that no thread was started for this good manga serie.
I did use the search tool but found no existing thread so i'm creating one for the latest chapter discussion, predictions...

The latest chapter of hajime no ippo up to date is chapter 943

After some cool action from the last 2 previous chapters, though these actinos could be summed up by two punches --' , we are left with no action at all :p. Only some tension building up and humour. Do you think that takamura is really going to kick their butts??? I think that he did say during his fight that he was going to kill the bearded guy but i think it was just for some fun...

Takamura is a hot-headed bastard and I love him for that. I'm pretty much looking forward to seeing their brawl although I suspect it could get omitted XP

I'm not following the manga so I'm really not that updated.

Completely forgot to watch this anime when they removed it from the air in our country..

Though I remember that my Grandad usually watched it with me..

From puny to champion.. Great anime I must say.. Inspired many people .. I even tried one of his trainings
