Probably the best anime of the last decades!
Am I the only one watching it?

I'm totaly addicted to it, I'm on episode 129 now
Synopsis for those who don't know:
The main character, Mamoru Endou (Mark Evans in the European version), is a very talented goalkeeper and the grandson of one of the strongest goalkeepers in Japan, who supposedly died before Mamoru was born. Even though his skills and enthusiasm are incredible, his school lacks a real soccer club, as the six other members don't appear very interested even in training. One day, when a mysterious forward named Gouenji (Axel Blaze in the European version) moves to Endou's town, the young goalkeeper sets out to find and recruit members for his soccer team

This show is amazing, every time you watch an episode, it makes you want to see the next!
And there are tons of original characters, awesome matches...
It made me want to play soccer

I've been planning to marathon this for over a year now. o_O; I guess I've only wanted to watch it because most of the Digimon fans have gravitated towards it.

It's not really ended, there's a fourth season but not with same characters as the previous. There is also a movie wich hasn't been subbed already.

I clicked on the "Sports" anime tag and came accross this show, then I looked at the Episode Count and back off.
Is this really good? Together with the "Sports" tag is the "Supernatural" tag. I am a fan also of "Supernatural" aspect so I guess it's another plus factor.
For those who have watched already, how would you describe the supernatural elements of this show?

It IS good you fool
No, it is TOTALLY AWESOME

As for the "supernatural" aspect, I'd say it's like a video game (and it is originaly). Think of it as a mix of Pokémon, Naruto and Captain Tsubasa...watch it, you'd understand

As long as it's not Shippuuden-like, I think it's fine for me.
