Hi all, I am a fan of detective conan and it is currently the only manga that I am reading. I used to read one piece as well.
I had also watched card captor sakura, gundam wing, dragonball series, rorouni kenshin etc.
But I prefer detective conan. I like the mysteries behind it all.

I will love that you recommend me detective kind of manga and anime.
I just want to watch detective kind of anime and manga. You are also welcomed to recommend me detective kind of novels. I am reading sherlock holmes as well. And I have some Father Brown novels with me. I am looking to read Agatha Christie detective novels as well.

I've read a few volumes of Mythical Detective Loki (not sure of the Japanese title, sorry :x) which I think is okay, but I'm not sure there's a detective manga/anime series that is on par with Detective Conan. There's Kindaichi, but I'm just personally not a fan of that series.

My final advice, please continue reading One Piece... If you actually stopped reading before Arlong Park Arc then you are missing half of your life... It only gets better there... Yeah it started slow but the series is still going strong...

along with CoolKid3, i recommend Liar Game, the games and strategies are well thought out and exciting, and keeps you going!

There's Shinrei Tantei Yakumo, though I think it's closer to Ghost Hunt than true detective stuff. The anime's plot now is getting pretty good, though...

I agree with Tantei Gakuen Q and MaLoRa-- though if you're reading Malora for mysteries, I think the manga's better in terms of whodunnits. Whatever the case, you get cool trivia~

big boss coolkid's already got you covered - Death Note and Monster are the way to go.  I also recommend Paranoia Agent for mystery fans, it's done very well and the mystery in it is awesome.

I GREATLY recommend Spiral : the bonds of reasonings in manga form !!!!

It's the BEST manga I have ever read !

The teen detective is VERY intelligent ! The story is amazingly LOGIC !

The cases are very clever and the reasonings are pushed to the extreme !
