The only two Anime I watch are Detective Conan and Naruto.
And I'm up to date on both episodes and watching for the next episode to be released and subbed.
So I'm looking for a new Anime to watch! [:

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

A crucial question: Have you watched any other animé before? If yes, which.
This is important for a) know what qualities you like in an animé b) not to suggest animé you already watched.

Eh, I watched Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. (Stopped watching both.)
And I watched DeathNote.
But I want Anime that are in Japanese and have English Sub.

I've seen episodes of One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist and Soul Eater and didn't really like them.

-Magic
-Demons
-Fighting
-Ninjas

Have you watched Inuyasha?  I don't like it, but I don't like Naruto either, so our tastes might be different. And it has magic, demons, fighting, and (I think) ninjas.

I do like Yu Yu Hakusho, and it has all those things too.

There's also Dragon Ball Z, if we want to make a list of all those fighting shows.

I mean, yeah, it has that in it, but the only category TTGL fits in is "manliness".

I'll recommend Slayers. It has magic, demons and fighting. It's not about ninjas, but sometimes Assassins appear ;p

Fairy Tail is nice too. Also has fighting and magic in it.

If you like Comedy genre, then i suggest watching Azumanga Daioh and Sora no Otoshimono..

RAW RAW FIGHT THE POWAH !!!

LOL I will recomend:

+Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (Kai too)
+Umineko No Naku Koro Ni (I haven't watched this but I know that it's really good LOL)
+Elfen Lied
+Chrono Crusade
+H2O Footprinst in the sand (is a little ecchi XD)
+Kiba (I haven't watch this anime but a friend did it and she loved it LOL)

and there's a lot more but that would be said the the already knew ones like: Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece (this one have like 400 ep XD), Inuyasha ( I loved this one but sometimes was really frustating but was like it never will end)... and there's a lot more LOL


and for commedy:

+Zero no Tsukaima (it's VERY ecchi XD but I've heard that it's funny also)
+School Rumble (I just watched a little of this one but is very funny)

reading this post, I found out that the actual lyrics say "raw raw" and not "row row", which makes me all kindsa sad.
