Hunters are a special breed, dedicated to tracking down treasures, magical beasts, and even other men. But such pursuits require a license, and less than one in a hundred thousand can pass the grueling qualification exam. Those who do pass gain access to restricted areas, amazing stores of information, and the right to call themselves Hunters.

We have currently 2 active fights and 2 open but hopeless battles lol

Hunter vs Alchemy which would you vote?

HxH ranks higher in terms of my FAVORITE anime rankings but FMA ranks higher in my BEST anime rankings.

FMA is definitely one of the few complete anime series out there. You cannot really ask for more. Only Monster and One Piece ranks higher than FMA on my best anime list ever...

However, removing my objectivity, I voted for HxH... Although both series had me pull out an all-nighter, my HxH all nighter is quite memorable since the next day I still have an early class (7am) and I just finished the GI:OVA, 3am... A series that is able to force me to watch like that must really be close to my heart...

LOL i thought i was alone CoolKid lol, i also did the exact thing i got classes(Finals) at 7 am(got to wake up at 6 to prepare for everything), I  finish at 4 AM just to finish season 1 and i was like WTF??? It's not yet finished so i surf for the web up to 4:30 then i suddenly fall asleep in front of monitor the good thing is the sounds system of our neighbor wake me up, I was like WTF in my exam the good thing is the only hard subject is Geometry lol or else ill die but neverthless its hard to compute when your dizzy and need slept

Hunter X Hunter. It's just as good but without tons of philosophy or disturbing plot twists.

Until now, there was only one anime in "the great anime battle" threads that I watched (DB/Z). I guess I just don't watch a lot of popular anime.
So...I'm waiting for the "Cardcaptor Sakura vs. Sailor Moon" 

I refuse to vote for the following reasons...

1 fma original was good but the ending was crap

2 fma new is still on going

3 HxH was good but the anime completed before the manga and doesn't look like its going to make a new one any time soon.

4 this entire contest is a mute point because we all know hokuto no ken is the greatest masculine anime, DC is the greatest shonen of recent years, Lupin III is greatest adventure anime, and sailor moon is greatest shoujo.

Note greatest shonen is debatable, but HnK and Lupin are there to stay.

Note 2: others that are on the list are big o flcl and cowboy bebop.

Edit: I forgot to meantion the fact that there are far too many animes to ever do this effectively.
