I just don't use TMs, so I got a stockpile of most of them.  Ones I need more of I use a first-gen Japanese glitch from Pearl to duplicate items.  Though that's tedius, and I'd rather use it to dupe Master Balls.

I think best news ever would be announcing box transfers.  Transfer 30 Pokemon at a time instead of 1?  YES PLEASE.  Or hell, even still 1 at a time, but do it by the box so you take 30 in instead of 6.  Either would be preferable to what we have now.

Oooh, true. I definitely agree with that. Transferring is currently the most ridiculously tedious part of the entire series.

Only until generation 7, when they finally do it decently and force it to be the standard metagame for tournaments, only to then release 4v4 battle in generation 8.

they do. you just have to go defeat the elite four again and then red somehow magically reappears back at the top of mt silver

yeah. i didnt play the original gold and silver games so when i went to cinnabar i was like what is this dump? of course later i found out that some volcano erupted and wiped out the island

It made me so sad! The first time I went there I actually thought Blaine was dead T_T Other stuff made me "awww" as well, like Pokemon Tower in Lavender being moved. I wondered if the Marowak had gotten a nice new grave, as well as Blue's Raticate. Red's mom sitting home alone and wondering where her son was made me sad too.

By this point you'll be able to have ten Pokemon in your party and the Pokedex will have 1200 creatures in it.
