The article said they are focusing in live actions (I don't watch the channel itself), but it's funny because the channel is called "Cartoon" Network LOL... that guy who wrote that article has a good point, those rating are LOW

A personal favorite of mine that I never got to finish thanks to it moving to AS halfway through: Cyborg 009.

Bad economy --> no Money--> No show-->Random live action shows (I think)--> rating falls lower-->less less money---> WORST POSSIBLE CHOICES

I think cartoon network was trying to become like Nickelodeon and failed miserably. Oh well, good memories at least.
coming home from school, watching action-packed toonami and dragon ball z, awwww yeah.

They even moved a lot of their good CN original animation to Boomerang. They never should have ended Toonami on weekday afternoons.

Well, CN has a lot of problems, clearly.
AdultSwim is just... a mess. It was once a respectable block, but then they started adding some of the
worst programming I've ever seen. There were some quality animes thrown in there, like Conan and Lupin, but then they would add three more that were just downright rubbish. They were just trying to beef up the line up when, really, it just kind of saturated the whole idea.
Even aside from the animes, you had Family Guy, Futurama (I'm not a fan, but I know some are), Aqua Teen, etc etc. And, like all other avenues, they decided to add in some of the most nonsensical stuff you've ever seen.
That said, they are adding the original (UK) The Office soon. AND AS SUCH, they are winnarz.

I still remember being in a movie theater and listening in (really it was just her talking obscenely loud) on the one woman who was complaining that the movie was starting 5 min late and that she HAD to get home to watch metalapocalyipse and tom runs for mayor (whatever its called). I was laughing so hard, and I apologize if anyone in here watches those shows but I personally find them to be the worst programing I have ever watched. The shows they play now I can't even bare to watch for more than 30 seconds.

Adult Swim is one big, retarded, internet-like self parody and has been for years.

Yeah, it started going downhill for anime when they started air all those obscure anime shows that made no sense. It's gotten to the point that the only anime I'm watching is on a science fiction channel(SyFy & the show's Gundam 00). Really makes me wish someone would do an anime channel(there was the Anime Network, but it moved to a on demand service).

While I agree that Tom Goes to the Mayor is really bad... because, well, it IS really bad, I respectively disagree about the Metalocalyspe comment. It's not the best show, but it's entertaining and I enjoy it (I don't even like metal).
But Adult Swim has sunken really low from their hay-days of old. The only shows that I really enjoy that are made by Williams Street are Venture Brothers, Metalocalyse, Boondocks (not a bad show) and... well, family guy and some other fox reruns that they show.
Some other ones are entertaining at times, like Robot Chicken and sometimes others, so many of these shows are absolutely horrid. With an emphasis on the live-action ones.
