I one watch certain types of anime though -- mainly Detective/Mystery (Kindaichi, Ayatsuri Sakon, Ghost Hunt), Historical Fiction/Classic (Rose of Versailles, Akage no Anne), and sometimes Romance/Comedy (Hana Yori Dango, Lovely Complex). I don't do extreme fighting and robots, lol.

FLCL (it helps if you are sleep deprived and or drunk while watching.  that way the 6 episodes make more sense. but then you get really angry that there are only 6 episodes.)
