I really like Tsubasa Chronicles at first, but when I read the manga I realized that A LOT has been left out. Not only the fact that the anime didn't reach the end of the manga but it also didn't explain the clones and stuff. The manga explained everything but it was pretty complicated, but at least it explained! Not like the anime.

On the other hand, animes that were drawn much better than their manga include BECK and Cowboy Bebop.

I liked the Spiral anime.  The ending was absolute horse crap, but that's like 80% of anime made in the last 10 years.

Hell, just look at Pandora Hearts.  Anime followed the manga closely for 23 episodes, and it was great.  Last 3 episodes it randomly switches over to AO, becomes completely horrid, ruined plot points, and made it impossible to do a sequel without pulling an inverse-Dallas at the beginning of the second season to erase the last three episodes of season 1.

Second (third? fourth?) Fruits Basket and Ouran High. They just changed the friggin' ending and the replacement ending was all kind of rushed and there were a lot of loose ends.
