Amnesia's ending was slightly more competent than the rest of the show (as it involved the one character who was interesting in any regard), and now that it's over I find out that it's apparently from a VN, which I should have expected entirely from the layout of the show :V

and regarding the rant I had about it earlier: Apparently the VN makes the main character even stupider in that route and the entire thing is made even more aggravating, so :V

this is a bad stance to take, because by taking it you effectively rob the word of its meaning as it can no longer be used to describe anything. When someone calls a piece of art flawless, people know what they mean. Even a "flawless" diamond can have flaws

That was actually meant to be a hyperbole...

Anyhow, SSY fits in with the other 99% of the dystopia genre in that it's best left as a novel and is sub-par when expressed in any other medium.
