Fate/Zero Thread

Well, the first time is DRAGON SE- OH WAIT I ATE YOUR SPIRITUAL ARM, LOL.  Yet they still act embarrassed around each other as if they had had sex.  Second time is just flat out removed, so Saber getting power makes no sense afterward.

Third time is a magical dolphin, which isn't too bad.  It doesn't make as much sense, but it isn't a complete butchering.

Fourth+ time is vampirism, and they remove every mention of sex from Heaven's Feel.  Every mention, even ones that aren't shown but just described.  Kind of completely wrecks the characters' personalities from that route, huh?  Also, Zouken's penis worms turn into javelin worms.

as for javelin worms, well, while that's pretty bad, it certainly would've saved me from a lot of "wtf"s

Well, the dragon is in the anime, and the dolphin is in the UBW movie.

I wouldn't bother with the ero removed versions.  They're removed so poorly that it makes things comedic.  Which I believe I mentioned in regards to the anime, so it's not like it wasn't mentioned.  And yeah, unless you're playing in public it isn't that big a deal.

speaking of "removed so poorly it makes things comedic", I remember when the first scene came along and I was like "hey, wait a minute, where did the voice acting go? This must have been patched in from the orig--oh. Ohhhhhhh. xd is this going where I think it is?"

As for the removed versions, how badly could they really be removed? Because I mean pretty much every scene is just "Hey we need to exchange magical energy" *sexy time* "alright now I'm all better!"

I got to "that part" and I noticed there was no voice acting.  At first i thought it was a glitch and I got a crappy torrent of the game.  But I was like "oh well" and continued to play.  And then I was like.. "wait what?!" 

"TOHSAKA, why are you joining?!"

I would say so, yeah.

As for the thing being too long, yeah it's pretty long, but thankfully you can skip all parts that you've seen before and get to the branch points pretty easily, so it's not like you really have to repeat anything.

I agree, since the biggest spoilers from Fate/Zero affect Heaven's Feel, which is the third route.  However, saying you can skip to branch points doesn't meant too much, since it branches on day 3 in UBW (out of 15 or 16 days), and effectively day 1 on Heaven's Feel.

I beat Fate, im on UBW.  Fate was nothing special in my opinion.  Mainly because I'm not big on Saber, and Shirou's a grade A bitch.

Fate really isn't that great, which is why I'm surprised every adaptation of the series is based on that route.  I guess it's mostly because that's the route that sets everything up so you get to know the characters, but still.  UBW and HF are much, MUCH better.

speaking of jerk masters, Kiritsugu in the latest ep was pretty assish as well. Not only does he screw Saber out of her duel, but he even makes her finish the master off as well (well, he doesn't *make* her, but his lackey makes no effort to finish the guy off).

I mean, I still love the guy, but damn. Stone cold.
