Digimon Frontier and Digimon Savers have both of them and were horribly dubbed... I guess those fall into the exception requiring an "almost".

Frontier had some good episodes. It was definitely better than Adventure 02.

Edit: I watched the first dubbed episode. Mikado and Kida sound like they are trying way too hard to change their voices. It makes them sound like characters from kiddy cartoons. =_=

And I fail to see how Frontier was better than 02. I mean, no matter how much 02's ending sucked, it's still 100X better than the awful final arc of frontier. And it had some awesome villains.

And Frontier didn't have almost anything in the real world, which are almost always the best (and best animated) parts of Digimon.

Hiroshi Kamiya only became popular after he almost died. I found that to be a little sad.

As for the off topic Digimon talk. Frontier went downhill when they decided to make most of the character obsolete. Adventure 02 did this in the very first episode...

In my opinion, Kida is supposed to be an annoying character sometimes so Miyano Mamoru did a great job portraying him.

Same here. Though my other favorites are Celty, Izaya, and Shizuo. I also like Shinra a lot too.

I can't say I have a favorite character. A lot of them are great, but none of them go beyond that into being one of my favorite ever or anything.
